Storm,
I made something similar, posted elsewhere.
I agree that this improves the performance of the CE2, which worked for me as-is.
Better is always better.

Visibility of wick wetting, being able to see liquid level, tilt to wet a little more, tilt more to simulate dripping. After you do clear, it will be hard to go back to vaping blind.

'rocket's pen mods are cool, def in the same family. Lets hear it for clear CE2 mods.

I agree, I saw your pen mod Rocket, pretty cool!
I love these things! Problem is, I ordered a VapeMate back before I discovered that this was the greatest vape ever! Guess I could sell it?? I don't think I could ever go back to attys after this.
I used one all day yesterday and right before I left work I noticed it was almost empty, so I decided to do an experiment on how long it would actually taste good with that little of juice in it. I chain vaped all the way home, 40 minute drive and it never gave up. It was bone dry in the tube when I finally just put it to rest. They are so consistent like this!
MD- I used to over fill mine all the time, until the juice goes down after a few good puffs, it's flooded. When the juice goes in the cup or I put too nuch, I just put the tip of a paper towel in there to soak some up. Usually works pretty good.
Are you guys noticing the taste changes on the 2nd fill if you don't dry burn after each fill?

Couldn't really say, I don't dry burn (not intentionally). Sometimes when I get used to how it's tasting and vaping and change out a bat to a fresh one it's a little harsh for a vape or two. But that's probably because I sort of just get used to it and "follow" the bat voltage down.
You know, the last time I pulled an atty out was for a "photo-op" :), and the time before that was for a resistance test.
I've also got a bunch or pre-filled cartos in the fridge just getting older.
Clear is just so much easier.

Its not actually a filler 'cap', its the filler ring/seal that fits tightly around the cup but it does have a lip that fits over the edge of the cup. On the sides of this ring there are 'cut-out' areas on the filler ring/seal for the area where the wick goes through clup slots and into the cup....It's important as a properly seated filler ring prevents leakage into that cup and down the airstem...
