Had a strange happening, see if someone has an answer.

Made a syringe mod just now. All was working well on my ego batt. But then the tube came loose and had a spill. I attribute this to residue from the black decal on the original E2 that was left on the portion that remained after the cutting.

So I clean it all up well, and extra attention to remove the residue from the sticker. now the mod will not vape on the battery. i put in on my 5v PT and it will work. I put another E2 on the battery and it works there.
Why will the mod work on the Pt but not the batt? Any ideas?

(man I love this avatar but Christmas is over and its time to change)

I have found this to be an issue with attys but not usually with cartos and the E2. But I'll check it out anyways to be sure.

The center pin of the E2 is the usually the one that gets pushed in on mine. I push it back out from the inside with a pencil eraser. However, if pushed too hard, the entire assembly will come out of the threaded fitting. Therefore, I screw it part way on the battery, which leaves a gap between the two fittings. Then I push the assembly in far enough to make an electrical contact. I screw the E2 back on each time just far enough to make a good contact, so the gap is not usually completely closed.

I have had this happen also, adjust the center pin a little and it should fire. Also, I leave the glue residue on the cut car to, it seems to stick to the tube a little and makes it more secure.

You would think but this time it seemed to be "slimey' and "slippery" if you know what I mean.

I think you're right, will try it. Is working on another batt so looks to be it.
Didn't think it would occur on an E2 as the contact looks different from the rubber sealed one on an atty. learn something new everyday.

Did you guys see the new tank coming out from RS?

Yes 'stormi' I did, but I'm not expecting much. I may get some out of curiosity like I did w/ the clearomizers, but they have been a disappointment to me so far.

Here's the link posted in the other thread: Gaintomizer Royalsmokers
