I got my eGo-c (900mah) and Vision Spinner (1300mah) combo yesterday, both with eVod tanks. The tanks leak & gurgle and have a really airy draw. I tried replacing with new heads, same problem. Am I doing something wrong? I made sure everything was screwed in tight (snug, not wrenched down tight, you know?) Would re-wicking them stop this?

I also got a couple of Protanks, but I'm askeerd to even load them up at this point.:p

I have had no problems with the EVODs, in fact, they have quickly become my preferred clearos. Make sure that you have the head in snog, sometimes they come loose when you are putting the clearo on the battery or removing it. The gurgling and leaking may come from loose connections. Also check that the gaskets are on tightly, that might be why.

Take the leap, use your protanks, you will like them. I have never had one of my protanks to leak or gurgle. I just got an evod today and I happen to really like it. It doesn't leak or gurgle on me.

I did finally pull on my big girl pants and fire up the Protank. I LOVE it. It's a little airy, but nothing I can't get used to.

I saw a thread yesterday that gave me an idea to use plumbers tape on the eVod. Getting ready to give that a try and see what happens.

Remove the post, put a little extra silica cut to match and try again. If it goes on gurgling, try blowing from the bottom. Sometimes liquid gets trapped inside the post and that makes it gurgle.

Thanks, Susaz, I've tried that, too. :(

I did try the plumbers tape. While it smoothed out the gritty feel when putting everything together, it still floods/gurgles/leaks. I'm going to rebuild the wick with cotton (cheesecloth) threads. If that doesn't work, I guess I'll just chuck them in a drawer until I see another idea to try. Frustrating, ugh.

Try flipping the cup seal over. A member here named vaptor recommended this for dry hits on the EVOD. I was having almost the same problems you were, but I flipped over the cup seal and everything works great now. I just figured if it worked for dry hits maybe it'll work for regular flooding. Good luck.
