I have had my mini now for over two weeks and have tried a number of different options for it, such as joye LR 510's, cisco 306's in 1.5 ohm and 2.0 and it seems like all I get is air. I don't know if it is because I compare it to my GGTS with UFS or what. My Greek will produce a cloud that your head disapears in and throat hit that makes you feel like you head might come off. Is this asking to much from a Reo mini. I just can't seem to get much vapor out of it. At this time I have the 2.0 cisco on it and IMR 14500 battery from clouds of vapor, these are not AW batteries but cheaper ones. I have no way to check these batteries under load but they meter out at 3.7. The hit I get reminds me of a regular protected Lithium that is dying. Any help on this matter would be appreciated. I got this unit because of it's size I kind of labeled it as my portable vaping device as my Greek is my home unit.

Hi Burnsie...
So, if these batteries are BDLs...they perform considerably worse than the AWs. When I pull my batteries off my charger they meter at about 4.1-4.2. When my batteries reach the 3.7...I'm reaching for a fresh one. If your batteries are coming off at 3.7...I can see why you would be disappointed. I would be too. When I hit my mini, I can blind myself with vapor....so my guess is it may be your batteries. Keep us posted!

What does not make sense is my Greek uses the same kind of battery just bigger and that hits like a freight train
The 18650s will always out perform any 14500....that is an unfortunate truth...and limiting factor in mods that use 14500 batteries. However, some 14500s are better than others. I use both the AW IMR 14500s and AW 14500 750mah in my minis and they both hit wonderfully. I no longer use the UF, TF, and BDL 14500s as they just don't give me the oomph I need to be a happy vaper. If you do decided to give the AW brand a try, be aware that it takes about 4 to 6 charge cycles for them to hit their full potential in battery performance. :)

Do you naolox on the firing pin.. I had the same issue you are are having when I first got it. NAolox solved the issue.. I can also tell you that the reo body itslef has a resistance of 0.2 to 0.4 ohms that may cause a slight decrease in "hit"..

Nice catch, gamedemon! :)

Hi Rhapsodies, wonder what u mean by 4-6 cycles charge for the batteries to hit their full potential in their performance? Does it means that I have to charge the batteries 4-6 times everytime before I use it again?

Rhaps is talking about their capacity. The first few times you use a brand new IMR, it will require recharging a bit sooner than what will become typical during the battery's productive lifetime.

Burnsie, I'd suggest you try an AW IMR 14500 in your Mini before you give up on it. The Mini devotees swear by that battery and probably know what they're talking about. :D

No....it seems like they just need to be "broken" in. So the first few cycles...the charge won't last as long as you would expect. If you aren't prepared for it...you would be irritated by your purchase and start searching for something else. When I first got mine, I documented how many mls I could get out of a charge...and at first it was pretty sad...about 1ml, maybe a touch more. Now my IMRs are lasting me through about 2 mls and my black ones are lasting almost 3mls.

Oh ok, so we must use the batteries and after a few times of charging it, it will eventually last abit longer. I only got the orange ones for my mini. Alright thanks for the information!! :)

Burnsie...if the AW batteries don't give you a better vape, then make sure you contact Rob. If there is something wrong with the mod, he will want to fix it. I'm confident though that you will enjoy it with the better batteries. Also, when you pull them off the charger, meter them to see where they are at....just in case there is something wrong with the charger. :)

I am using a electrical contact greese not naolox but a different brand that was the first thing I did after I got it. I am going to order some AW batteries and try that.

When I got my first Reo I was unable to pick up some Noalox immediately so I went to an auto supply store to get a packet of "electrical grease". I told the guys it had to be conductive grease. They assured me it was. It was not!!!!!!

There are two basic types of "electrical grease"; one is conductive and the other is non-conductive. The conductive one helps prevent corrosion at contacts and improves conductivity. The non-conductive only prevents corrosion and can impair conduction.

So one has to be absolutely sure that the grease being used IS CONDUCTIVE. If the label does not state "conductive" then chances are it is not.

where can i get some noalox for my grand?I bought it used and need some.
You can get it at almost any home improvement store or hardware store in the electrical isle near the multimeters. It comes in a bottle or you can also get it in a tube. Here is a picture of what it looks like.
