Ok,
You may or may not remember my name.. I posted a thread earlier which got to 15 pages in about a day.. I know a few of you had been sending me PM's, wishing me well and wondering how I was doing, and I'm fine.. sorry it took so long to respond but I had to do the coast guard thing..
you can read the post here..

I had a serious mishap with my PV... I had a very scary experience with my GLV2, which after more reading had nothing to do with the product itself, but the batteries I used..
I am thankful for a few things..
I'm really glad I wasn't hurt
, I really had no idea how bad this could have been until after it happened.... There were a few people who thought I should have know the danger of using a mod, but I had no idea.. regardless.. I'm ok, and it could have been a lot worse. (thanks to the good engineering of the GLV2 with the vent hole)
The support i got from here was great.. i really appreciate your help.. I wouldn't have come back to post if it wasn't for you. (you know who you are!)
But mostly,
The fact that what I did will inevitably make things safer for the next customer;
When i picked up my first e-cig 6 months ago, I was amazed.. I fell in love with the concept. This product is amazing.. There are a million variations, (some a little more complicated than others
) but they're all moving us toward a better option than ANALOG cigarettes. I'm glad this happened without any injury.. and hope a lesson is learned for all.. I would hate for the FDA to get more ammo to try and ban PV's.. I hope that all vendors take action, and warn of any needed precautions.. I would hate to see these go away..
p.s.. Jay was great about everything.. He offered me a refund, or a new GLV2. Although I'm always looking for the next best thing, I think I'll stick to my rechargable tornados from Totally Wicked for now.
Jay, i'll call you once I do a little more research!
