Agreed. Kind of stopped watching a while ago.
I find it very amusing that you have been enjoying Vaping With Vic whilst at the same time also you recommend to look for reviewers that go more into technical details. His YouTube video review of the UD Sifu B-Tab, a product that I actually own and use, is the exact opposite of "go more into technical details", as he simply kept knocking on the product by just repeating himself countless times instead of showing some actual testing that would have revealed that the ohms readout on this device is reliably accurate after you subtract .01 ohm from it and you compare that to the resistance number reported by a multitude of DNA 250 mods the vast majority of which are also known to be highly accurate, especially by those who build to low ohms on a mech mod (myself included).keeping in mind what works for one person may not work for another
when someone keeps saying it's a great product...but not giving any detail, that's not a good review
as you said you found a tank to be too airy for you, but the reviewer it may have been perfect for them
try to watch at least 3 different reviews of a product before you buy it and as always you are more than welcomed to ask here in the forums before buying anything for people's thoughts
just because someone reviews a product, doesn't mean that they are bribed to do so...they may genuinely find the product good for their needs....that doesn't mean it's good for your needs
and coils will gunk up faster depending on the juice that you use...
if you are looking for some respectable reviewers then I'd highly suggest phil busardo (can i taste your juice) and mark todd (todd's reviews)
another one I've been enjoying lately is vaping with vic
look for reviewers that go more into technical details over those that just say it's good, look at my clouds....
Same here, when I first started, I watched and shamefully believed many; I wasted a lot of money.
If those coils were designed to be run at 75W and you were using them with less power than the recommended level, they will burn out much quicker since you are basically boiling the juice instead of vaporizing it.And why 75w rated coils burn out so quickly when my mod do max 40w.

Heres a great review who can watch it to the end
Some may think how vaporizing vg and pg need anything special just something that make it happen but apparently there are tons of differences but its about the person and the need mainly. Some only want the nicotine from reliable device but some go deeper, like people who like alcohol. For me(dont like, only once or twice a year) its just some taste horrible and some are drinkable, but there are ton of people who sniff wines and drink different types with different foods and even the glass you drink from is important factor to the taste. Eu parlament leader juncker the drunker for an example like cognac in the morning then drink different wines all day :d) For me i have my waking up vaping device, the one i take when i go outside, the backup one etc :d there are many A+ devices which offer different kind of vape and flavor rendering and drag plus other features aswell.
Anyone who is going to try vaping instead of smoking need nice and kind experienced friend who will guide and give the right information about devices, nicotine leveles and such. It can otherwise lead to fail or very expensive like for me. I had the worse "mentor" he think he know everything but he didnt even know what tc mode is or he did believe he knew but was so wrong. Also recomended 1% nicotine strengh with vaping pen for heavy smoker who is trying to quit. Plus many other things...
This place seems to be the most reliable channel for correct information and some vaping shops are very nice too, but not all..
Youtube i havent found any good channel id like to follow and i have not learned anything from yt. Im going to try rba for fun when my rba coil arrives and the shop. Keeper promised to build it with me so i can learn and get the result i may want. That is nice.
Heres a great review who can watch it to the end...
I tend to just run a google search for the product i'm looking for and will watch a few reviews on it, vaping with vic lately seems to be the one that I get most of and 60% of what I've seen has been fairly informative...though a few have been mostly rambling....I find it very amusing that you have been enjoying Vaping With Vic whilst at the same time also you recommend to look for reviewers that go more into technical details. His YouTube video review of the UD Sifu B-Tab, a product that I actually own and use, is the exact opposite of "go more into technical details", as he simply kept knocking on the product by just repeating himself countless times instead of showing some actual testing that would have revealed that the ohms readout on this device is reliably accurate after you subtract .01 ohm from it and you compare that to the resistance number reported by a multitude of DNA 250 mods the vast majority of which are also known to be highly accurate, especially by those who build to low ohms on a mech mod (myself included).
We expect a YT review on that mod before you take it outta the box & after you spend the $ deposited in your account @Vapedog !There are some ok reveiwers that give honest opinions giving warts and all reveiws. I dont watch much other than to see maybe how something is done, but rarely. I prefer written reveiws. You can look at and think about a section, re read it and take it in better. Video is different and no substitute for the written. The words fly by, even when you go back to a section, they still fly by again. Written is there and only moves when you want it too.
But, a lot of reviewers, both video and written are in a position. Give favourable reveiws and keep the freebies flowing in, or give honest reviews and watch them dwindle. It's consumer driven and sponsoring, supplying, whatever you want to call it, a reviewer that finds fault with your product is counter productive. Even if it sucks. I think advice given here of waiting to see what others like themselves think of something on places like here is the best option. Lets face it, a mod is just a device to fire a coil and yet the way they can be hyped up as a must have item you'd think it was something that makes you live longer, can make you wealthy and bring endless happiness.
Expecting to see anything other than you do on video reviews is a dream.
Now if you will excuse me I have to go and order my new mod that fires the coil 1/1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000th of a second faster than my others. I just have to have it! It's gonna be life changing.
This.I use the YouTube reviews to see what features a product has but put very little stock on their opinions. If you wait a little while after a product becomes available you can come to this forum and see what users are saying about it and if there isn’t any info start a thread asking for opinions. There is a few reviewers I trust because they’ve steered me in the right direction in the past but the majority of reviewers I take their opinions with a grain of salt.
