How much distilled water can you add to a 50/50 pg/vg pre-mix liquid per ml without getting it to watered down?

I thin my wife's premade juice (such as KBV Candy Bar) so that it wicks better in cartos. About 0.2mL of distilled water per 3mL batch makes it noticeably thinner and it still produces good vapor and taste. In drops, it would be 4-6 drops.

I agree with MaxUT. I am leaning more towards a bit thinner juices these days. Opens up the flavor more, and also makes the nic more available, thus the increased TH. My general formula is %water + %flavor = 20-25%. So if I use 10% flavor, the water will be 10-15%. Sometimes, depending on the flavor, 15%

What is the chemistry behind it being more available? Are you talking about changes in pH or something with the properties of the fluid/vapor. The idea of water adding TH seemed kind of silly to me at first, but that would make sense.

I am not sure Apri. But I do know that 100% VG doesn't vape well. It makes tons of vapour but lacks in anything else. Cut at 20% and it seems that the flavour is more pronounced. If I was to describe my experience with commercial mixes of "unthined" VG, it would be a mellow somewhat greasy taste/vapour. <----- That's the best I can do.

OTOH dilluting helps the liquid wick better without sacrificing vapour production IMO.
