Perhaps relevant

Does AVE claim that Boba's is actually 100% VG? Or just PG free?

What I'm getting at is, are they using VG based flavoring?

I've mentioned this before, but I find both GJ and BB completely over the top on flavoring concentration, I dilute both in HALF and find no flavor drop off. If you're looking for a thinner BB, perhaps try cutting it?

I don't know what tobacco base is used but I think I know at least 1 flavor. Have you ever tried bubble tea? If so guess what the little balls in the bottom are called? Boba Pearls! They also smell just like bobas bounty. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I did a little internet google hunt for tapioca (boba) extract. Not a thing that exists as tapioca is a starchy root. That said, casava (I think I'm remembering that word right) which is very very similar to tapioca, can be found. There was also another thing that was close, a syrup I think, that the anti-gluten demographic was after, but I could only find people talking about it, not any for order.

Who's to say that the liquid isn't just steeped in the pearls. Just a thought.

Since we cannot simply locate a tapioka flavoring... I'm still going to go back on the "play on words". and "Its so simple"
Ive been mixing many teas lately I havent had time to play at this.... and I still have lots of bobas left when my husband has an urge to go back to it. Ive been buying several flavors and Flavor Art "oba oba" does have a complex taste that could be a component, and it does match the play on words.

What tobaccos from the same vendor start with a "b"? BlackFire?

Tapioca isn't really a flavoring though, it is a thickener, anyone ever have tapioca pudding? Those tapioca balls are just starch to thicken up a liquid, but the native taste is totally bland. If you're talking about taro or cocoyam, though,Decadent vapors, which used to be sold by Totally Wicked had an actual flavor called coco yam (I have it as a flavor concentrate) that is very interesting, unfortunately I couldn't comment on it's similarity to BB because I have never tried it, but the description of cocoyam is: tastes like the improbable lovechild of a sweet potato and a Ferrero Rocher (strangely delicious!) LOL!

If Boba's Bounty actually refers to the movie, his bounty was Han Solo.

Not really any anagrams for Han or Harrison Ford unless there are flavors called "Salon Ho" or "Arid Fro Shorn".

I may be wrong, as there are nerds far larger than I patrolling the interwebs... but I thought Boba Fett was after the Millenium Falcon.
