Ok. SO I've had the Hypnotic Mist and Oba Oba for a minute now... and first off. TFA Hypnotic is NOTHING like F.A. Hypnotic mist. As indicated above, Flavour Art's version is MUCH more mild, less citrus-y and more sweet. It's not bad... just nothing like it. I did the Hypnoba recipe someone mentioned but it calls for TFA's version, which I do believe would make it better as w/ the FA it's pretty dang sweet. While I do like sweet vapes, I do not like SUPER sweet vapes and prefer them to be a little sour. (like Pixie Dust, amazing)
So... it looks like eventually I will have to repurchase some TFA Hypnotic and brown sugar so I can make the legit concoction. I think I will like it.
Hypnotic mist on it's own is interesting. I believe I mixed it at 5% but I'll be bumping it up. It's a mild flavor. Sweet w/ a hint of citrus but it's very very slight.
Oba Oba is very good. Tastes like cream soda and something else I can't quite figure out. Anyone have some Oba Oba recipes besides the Hypnoba, please share

TFA Hypnotic is NOTHING like F.A. Hypnotic mist. Agree 100% Absolutely!

We made a "Hypnoba Mist" which we mixed at 5% Hypnotic Mist and 5% Oba Oba...and it's definitely got potential! It had 2 hours in the ultrasonic before we tasted it (6 days ago). It was a bit too sweet for me, but not to hubby...but I vaped a couple of small tanks anyway to 'get to know it better'. I didn't think it was super-sweet (I generally consider a vape most people call sweet as being TOO sweet). In fact, I rarely add sweetener or EM to anything we make.

It doesn't seem as sweet now as it did fresh out of the ultrasonic, and I'm really enjoying the various 'nuances' (which are really lightweight & barely identifiable at this level). I think maybe the Oba covered them up. We're definitely going to play around with this combo over the upcoming weeks/months.

We didn't mix/taste the Hypnotic Mist separately. (Thanks for the percentage tip Got-Ta-Go!). We'll likely start lower than 10%, but definitely wanna try it there. We're still enjoying the Oba at 10%...but wanna try it a bit less, too.

We made the Hypnoba as written. We didn't care for the blend of flavors much at all (as I suspected, the grapefrut/bitter citrus aspects of the Hypno just don't mix with the Oba Oba for our taste buds)...but I can certainly understand why others would enjoy the contrast. The thing that surprised me most was the lack of intensity overall...almost like the brown sugar lessened both of the flavors (perhaps the brown sugar is made with EM?). Btw, we don't have the original TFA Brown Sugar; we have Brown Sugar Extra - perhaps that made a difference.

After 6 days, there's not much of a difference in the Hypnoba to us from right out of the ultrasonic. Fwiw, if I appreciated the two flavors together, I would mix it again either without the brown sugar OR upping the percentages of the Hypno and/or Oba...I'm just not getting enough of either to achieve 'vape satisfaction'.

I've got lots of idea for the Oba, but only tried one (a tropical blend of Oba, TFA dragonfruit, HS mango, HS juicy peach and a blip of TFA ripe bana). Ewwww, the Oba (to us) did not like the acridness of the pineapple in the dragonfruit or the mango. But methinks 'tropical Oba' has serious potential. Next time I'll keep the blip of ripe banana and probably add some different tropicals.

If anyone is 'on the fence' about Oba Oba or Hypnotic Mist, I definitely suggest jumping off and giving them a try!

I upped the percentage on the Hypnotic Mist and Oba Oba from 5% to 7%.... Didn't care for it. Going to mess around more with mixing once i get my HH357!! (finally bit the bullet... bought it solely for testing flavors) Not having luck with cheaper attys so I'm hoping this HH357 will at least somewhat live up to the hype. Tried testing on RBAs and not much luck with that either so I've decided to stop mixing until I have something that will enable me to actually taste them before adding to cartos/etc.

What percentage are you mixing these at? I have all those flavors. Sam Soe is ok... I'm not a big fan of clove but wanted something different. (I am weird... I'll have cravings for things I don't even like LoL)
For any tobacco lovers. Hpno and Oba go very well with 234 Sam Soe. I mean REALLY good!:banana::smokie::thumb:

I'm still, after all these months, Vaping my Shade/Oba Oba mixture as an ADV...I go through a tank a day of this. I always have at least one other tank going...something fruity or sweet...but just about the only tobacco I vape is my Shade with a bit of Oba Oba. Its just so darn good.

I haven't made this Hypnoba in quite a while...need to make some up!

Start with 2.5% Sam Soe & Oba with 3% Hpno. Take it from there to get it to your taste.

I vape everything with 50/50 12 mg. so YMMV.

Is this FA Hpno or TFA Hpno? Also, have you tried just the Oba Oba & Sam Soe w/out the Hpno... because I just have the FA kind

I find 7% to be the sweet spot for me with FA's Oba-Oba, 100%vg with a good couple week steep. The marshmallow and tobacco both come through nice. Any more and it seems to wash out one of the other. I have tried every percentage up to 10% and I find 7 the best for my liking. Every other FA flavor I use except whipped cream is down around 2%-3%.

Just picked up some Oba Oba and I have to agree with we2rcool. It's a unique mix of marshmallow and vanilla for me, which is a very very pleasant surprise because none of the marshmallows I've tried taste anything like a marshmallow and I've been trying to find "that" flavor now for months. Once I can narrow down the combo, this is going to make one hell of a vape :).

Here's what I can add...

I always mixed 30mls or less of Oba Oba and vaped it right away. Then I said - 'might as well just make 60mls so I won't run out...and ended up letting some sit for a couple-three weeks longer than usual. 'Filled a tank, hit it, and screamed, "What happened to my OBA!? It's turned into TOBACCO!?"

It's still "light"; it's still creamy/sweet with a touch of marmallow/meringue & vanilla - but now it has tobacco, too (and less of all the rest).

So now I "get" why so many people call it a tobacco!

If you want that light/yummy marshmallow vape, be sure to vape it within a couple of weeks after you mix it. If not, be prepared for a very interesting Tobacco vape...with tons of potential for mixing.

For whatever reason, I've been ignoring this thread, maybe it was the name "Oba Oba" (as opposed to simply the generic name of a flavor) that I associated with all the disgusting store bought juice that forced me to try making my own.

But now that I've read the words "vanilla & marshmallow" my interest is peaked...although the description of "sweet" is disconcerting. What is the level of sweetness. What I despise about most store bought juice is the artificial, sickening sweetness.

At this point, I find my likes in flavors are limited to tobaccos, vanilla, marshmallow and all sorts of creams. I never add any additional sweetners to my juice but I do like a very faint, subtle sweetness that has a natural taste.

Ok Boomerdude... I FINALLY was able to try your Hypnoba recipe almost exactly as you laid it out. Previously I had tried using Flavour Art's hypno in place of TFA and I don't like that version. Far too sweet. However, I finally ordered some TFA Hypno, as I do like that flavoring anyway and wow. What a difference. It's still not your exact recipe as I don't have Brown Sugar flavoring anymore but I imagine the flavor is pretty damn close. Good job bro. If only I had mixing skills to make my own recipes. Lol
Hypnoba
5% Oba Oba
3% Hypno TFA
1% Graham Cracker (clear)
1% Sweetener

Good stuff. It's like a marshmallow with a slight hint of citrus. It's very light but I like it a lot.

I'm with you! The few times I've added sweetener to my juices, I've wished I hadn't! I do NOT like overly sweet juices. But Oba Oba doesn't seem 'overly sweet' to me (and certainly not sickening). It's definitely worth a try, we thinks!

I've been testing a few mixes with Vienna Cream + Oba Oba and I think I've finally nailed a blend that is by far one of the most complicated I've attempted. Working with a 8 flavor blend right now and the 10 ml turned out so well, I mixed up 50 ml and I'm going to let it steep for a week or two to see if the tobacco comes out. If it does, that'd be awesome as I've never let Oba Oba set for more than 3-4 days because I loved the "fresh mixed" flavor so much.

Honestly, not sure why I waited so long to try it. I guess it was the name and the thought of it being like some of the rather nasty tobacco flavors I've tried.

Here's what I can add...
