DIY E-juice Help

This may be a stupid question but better to be safe than sorry.

So i was thinking about starting to create my own e-juices without nicotine. Is all the safety gear (goggles, gloves, suit) necessary if i'm not adding/messing with nicotine.

Sorry in advance if it's the wrong forum wasn't sure should have i posted into this one or the beginners forum.

Personal Protective Gear is suggested when working with highly concentrated nicotine from my limited knowledge. Unless you are allergic to any of the base liquids or the flavorings I would say it isn't necessary but you should do what you feel is best. Do a little research first and your should be fine.

Maybe just safety glasses. I would imaging PG/VG or flavoring may sting a bit if splashed in your eyes. I don't think it would do serious harm just be a bit unpleasent.

+1 for eye protection. If mixing for yourself, gear optional. If mixing for yourself and others is another question. Cleanliness plus gear may be mandatory for non family.

I've been DIYing for 5 years, and never once used PPE. A good amount of caution, no distractions and common sense have prevented any catastrophes. I use 100mg nic.

some vendors will make that up for you but if you vape at 3mg you will need to get a slightly higher concentration because adding flavoring will dilute the 3mg depending on the percentage of flavoring added. Flavoring percentages need to be factored in to arrive at the final mg outcome.

I would at least wear gloves if you'll be working with cinnamon flavors. It's kind of like pepper spray.
Wash your hands when you get done though. You don't want to touch you or your wife's face with concentrated flavoring.
