DIY e-power shorty cone for 3.5ml tanks

These tanks work great on the epower, unfortunately the gap between the tank and switch assembly really bothers me, i ordered 3 different shorty cones for the ego hoping to modify one to fit but there diameter is just way too small.

i plan on ordering another stainless epower cone to cut down and use but for now found a simple solution...

took one of my daughters crayola markers and cut a section of tube from the .... end of the marker, the inner diameter is so perfect it threads itself when u twist it on, its not stainless but did streamline the looks a little for no cost and 5 minutes of time

Yep, cutting down the E-Power cone is the way to go. You could try a hacksaw on the stainless steel cone. Better yet you could use a cutting wheel on a power drill or grinder for a neater job. Sand the cut smooth with a little emery cloth or 300+ grit sandpaper.

I really like the idea, 2 questions:

1. Where do you buy your tanks for the e-power? I want to get one, but not sure which one to get.

2. I like the chrome drip tip, where'd you get it? I currently use that clear plastic one in your pic. Does the chrome one enhance flavor, have you noticed?

its just a smoktech 3.5ml tank, the driptip does nothing to enhance flavor but feels alot better than the plastic ones...

I ditched the plastic ring along time ago, cut the cone down using a pipe cutter....

Without the tank...

The epower stays in my pocket and is my workhorse when im at work or out and about....

When im at home tho I break out the holy grail...
