I guess no one wanted to be gentle so they didnt reply.

Looks like a great mod. You should have seen my first passthrough. Although it was right when i quit smoking and due to battery problems it was more a necessity . I ripped the 510 connector out of a dead battery took a big fat pill bottle drilled 3 holes in it hot glued a usb cord in one end the 510 connector in the other. All i had was a toggle switch so that got slapped in the top. Major ghettoized mod i slapped together but hey it kept me from buying a pack of smokes.

OP: looks great, but more importantly, as long as it works, there is not a whole lot to complain about, right? I tend to shoot for function before form.

Lol, My first pass through was soldiered to a 510 to 901 adapter. No case just dangling wires and a switch.

lol I can relate, mine was a 510 battery connector soldered to a BNC cable that I powered via lab power supplies at work. Ultimate variable voltage!

i struggled with one til i found this one. I think a flash light next? thanks for the only reply.
Hi ,gee that's sad "the ONLY reply" Shucks if I saw it before I would have replyed as I have the most minimal knowlege of any electrical stuff. In fact I've saved it to my Favs file. Can you give a bit more detail like step by step how you made it?I happen to have that adapter just collecting dust and I just might be able to do this one.Thanks...
