I find the smell, not taste is the best indicator of whether or not I'll like the juice. That's just my experience as they say YMMV

I will definitely agree with that as smell is closer to the vapor than how the liquid tastes.

There are people on these forums who claim to be able to equate taste with vapability. I'm not one who can do that. I've tasted mine to compare and I don't get the same (or even similar) effect as the actual vape. I can tell when a juice is reaching maturity by sniffing the opened bottle, especially with tobacco flavors.

I'm constantly shaking and then opening the cap to savor the aroma. It's the same with ground coffee. I can tell if it's going to be what I expect after brewing. Some coffees smell nasty and create a brew that's similar.
