Recently have been looking to mix some e-juice for my use. Questions: What is a "alcohol based flavor?" Is it better to use [removed] nicotine or a VG blend around 25 mg? Is there really that much of a difference between vegan and organic stuff to other non-vegan and non-organics?

Thanks. =)

Most people find 100mg/ml the most economical.

I personally don't care to use alcohol based flavors but they are fine to use.

vegan organic? to me it does not matter in this case.

Some don't like the alcohol taste but if left uncapped a few hours that tastes usually goes away. Alcohol flavorings are usually super concentrated flavorings so a little goes a long way. Of those I've tried I found them for the most part very good and also very in expensive.

Vegan, non-vegan, organic, non, organic I don't see much difference. And as far as non vegan no vaping ingredients that I know of are made of animal product. So if someone tries to sell you on vegan approved vaping tell them you have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale.

As far as NIC most use 100mg for the cost savings and small space used for long term storage. If your not comfortable handling that high a concentration then go for a lower concentration. As far as NIC in VG or PG if you tend to vape on the higher VG side get it in VG if you vape a higher PG blend get it in PG.

If your going to purchase a premixed base then make sure you get it several MG's higher then your normal vaping strength because flavoring added to the base will dilute the NIC content.

Also make sure you do your research on DIY.

My blogs will give insight into all aspects of DYI, from steeping to what supplies to have on hand to a basic walk through mixing your first E-juice.

Then read hoosier's blogs. These blogs concentrate on fine tuning your mix and give insight on additives.

Then read Boletus's blog's. These blogs concentrate on formulation of nicotine bases regarding proper calculations methods for figuring Nicotine concentration as well as safety.

Then read Ginger's book "E-Cigarettes 102: DIY E-Liquid". It is a book which I've contributed to that delivers an in depth easy to follow guide in the art of DYI.

I recommend viewing VPLive Vape Team Episode #82: DIY Safety and bookmark it for future reference. It explains safety in all aspects of DYI.
