already a lot of miss-information going around.....and FYI the picture I posted is only a test box...

But what can be said (not rumor)

"there is support for other types of wire"

Ah, well then that is interesting: most interesting if 'support' means configurable TCR, much less so but still progress if it means there's a hardcoded Titanium mode versus Ni200 mode. (Not interesting at all if it just means "set a lower temperature and it works", but I'll assume you don't mean that!)

Well. I didn't expect evolv to make such a HUGE jump in power. I thought maybe a dna 60 or even 100 but 200? wow. Makes their entire speech on how high powered wattage is not needed and potentially dangerous since evolv is all about safety completely bull.....

I am glad to see firmware upgrade though. no more 5 different DNA40 chips floating around and bricks being useless. But damn lipo batteries? that is gonna be a expensive vaporshark or hana. Wonder how vaporflask is going to cope with that.

As said "there is support for other types of wire"

And for those who didn't see the earlier update:

200 watts, Temp Protect, firmware upgrade-able......
-3S LiPo (You could use three good 18650s, and it also supports LiFePo. )
-Individual cell monitoring
-Full balance charging integrated into the board

Is the size of the chip comparable to the dna 40?

I asked that before, that could be a big thing.

However, since most mod cases are not ready for a 200W LiPo mod It might not be that important.

Eric
I don't need the huge pack. I don't even want anything close to 100 watts. I vape at 15 to 20 watts. I also would like to fit this chip into my wizard. Doesn't look like it. Not interested if it's huge. Hopefully evolv will come out with a smaller version for lower watts like they did with the dna25
