DNA 40 Chip Swap

Hey guys and gals, Do you think its possible to swap out the chip in a fasttech hanamodz clone for a authentic dna 40 chip? I cant justify spending 250 bucks for an authentic hana when i could possibly just swap the chip out

Yes its possible but there's some soldering involve.

If you don't already have the clone you can order just the enclosure from FT. I did and put a DNA40 in it. Works great. Here's a thread with some tips for you:
