Hey guys,
I finally had a bad drop with my HB40. I pulled my battery out and put it back in. Tried firing it and nothing. Then I held the firing button down. The chip works but the OLED does not. I opened up my device and found the screen was not attached anymore. I know some ribbon cables just plug in but this one seems to be a different story. I'm waiting on Evolve to get back with me about replacement screens. But if I can save the hassle of going through customer service I will.
Any ideas?

I will post pictures soon, not at my computer right.

The ribbons are soldered onto the board on the earlier 40's and they are VERY tiny/delicate solders so repairing yourself may be do-able but from what i've seen/read it's very difficult.

Unfortunately you'll probably have to send it in to Evolv and have them replace the screen, but they are generally pretty good about customer service/being reasonable on repairs.

Best of luck!
