There was a Mini M download there before and no J boards... now there are 2 j boards and no mini.. If there is another site I guess the Mini M is still there....

Do you mean the "completely depleted battery bar" while using ECO mode? We've sent the feedback to our engineers. Please use the newest SXi ( V20150525) to upgrade your device again. Thanks.

SX Update - There will be another set of files released due to 1 specific bug found where upon a batt change the unit shows it as a dead battery....possibly only in Eco mode.

Yes they have a fix for it already, I've tested it and it fixes the "Check Battery" error when changing batteries in Eco mode. I'm sure they are still finalizing testing and it will be released publicly soon.

So I can send them an email telling them what is wrong and they can waste time responding to me instead of a customer that needs their help

Yup. if your not willing to suffer any unforeseen problems it's a good idea to wait on any patches. Back in the 90's we adopted a methodology that any new code, Including Microsoft, Oracle, Antivirus or anything that would change a system would go through the exact same rigors as our in house developed code. First through the development servers, then test servers, then staging servers and then finally to the production servers if no problems were found. It would typically take about a week to make it through the change control process and make it through to production. And yea we still came across problems occasionally that weren't detected in the test & verification process. This update is not a mandate, it's optional and people can use their device just fine without it.

I have a buddy that has a DNA 40 that is persistently getting a scrambled screen. It goes away but randomly reappears and is bothersome to him. Can you tell me what firmware version he's running? Or how he can check his firmware version? Are there any firmware updates he could get to fix his problem. He's stated he's contacted his vendor and they tell him it's the latest version. He's contacted the DNA 40 board manufacturer and they won't help him and redirect him back to the vendor. Should I contact the Manufacturer on his behalf?

I work in Ti and I sometimes download updates hot of the press because it's exciting and brings a little spark in my life... Maybe something will go wrong and I'll have to fix it! [emoji14] [emoji14]

I know, I know, one shouldn't do that but last year I wanted to upgrade my department's work stations and the boss said: what? We have an IT department? Why? We never had even a glitch?

I'm confused too, thought the fix was to buy a Rayn v4 board

I love the dna 40 for it's size and ability to fit tiny mods. I love the sx350j for it's features. I also own several mods with both boards. I tend to use my dna 40 for my all day vape for a long lasting battery life and smooth vape on my rta. The sxminim is for my high wattage vape with my rda. If I had to get rid of one or the other, well.... that's not going to happen.
