Do certain e-juices dehydrate you more than others?

I’m presently vaping The 8th Wonder from Prime vaping. It’s a 70/30 PG/VG mix and 6mg nic like many of my other juices, but it gives me horrible dry mouth – I easily drank a liter of water in the past hour while vaping it.

I get some level of dehydration while vaping anything, but this is just over the top. Nice flavor, but it’s turning me into the Sahara.

I don’t have nearly the same level of dehydration with other 70/30 mixes. Is there something other than the PG/VG ratio that contributes to dehydration? Does the method of vaping (e.g., clearo, dripping, tank, etc.) have an impact on dehydration level?

I don't know if this is true or not, but it seems like the more vapor that's produced (which can be affected by pg/vg ratio, flavor, delivery system, and temperature of the heating element), the more dehydrating the experience is. Logically this makes sense too.

Really? i thought the more PG the more dryness you get and since you get more vapor with more vg, i would think the greater the vapor the less dryness there would be. anyway, if you like vapor i say go for it, either way drink plenty of fluid. you probably can't go wrong drinking lots of water, unless maybe you have kidney or water retention problems.

It was just a guess. But I believe some of the exhaled vapor is actually vaporized saliva (saliva that clings to the vapor particles), so if that's the case, it would make sense that if there is more vapor to wick away your saliva, you are going to get more dehydrated. Again, this is just my guess based on my limited knowledge.
