Hi, I have been cigarette free for 6 months now. I have a Russian 91 and a nautilus and use a Sentinel MI6. The reason I went to the Sentinel is so I did not have to change the battery constantly. Anyway, I am not a cloud chaser, I just like a nice throat hit and good flavor. Do I need a VV/VW? I have used them in the past and always had troubles with the volts/watts changing on their own, then getting a burnt taste. I would chalk it up to user error but it happened with both a ZMax and Imotion. I do not know if I will get a better result using a VV/VW. I have heard the dna 20 and 30 are great but again, have been scared off because of them having a mind of their own and changing without me changing the power levels. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Mark

Good VW's don't change. Dont know what you had before but i use them and i got a lot of RBT's and RDAs. My fav so far is a DNA type. The only time the wattage changes is when the battery is almost drained and the wattage drops some. Never had it go high by itself. I presently have a Seven 22 (GREAT MOD) built as good as a provari. But it is a 26650 battery very big. Have a Vamo DNA on order. Vamo is now making a DNA 30 type tube mod. Also have a Hana DNA 30 clone on order. The hana is a box mod so its a good carry mod. I'd at least get a DAN 20 but if you will notice there is little dif in price between a 20 and 30. If you need links to get one PM me and I will post them.

A VV/VW mod makes it simpler to use a variety of coil resistances in the toppers you may use. If you like different heat, wattage depending on the flavor you're using it comes in handy. Changing the voltage or wattage is usually just simpler that varying the resistance to your desired vape.

If you have found the resistance you like, and build or buy coils at the correct ohms, a fixed voltage mod will work fine, while being simple and dependable. I've found about 1.7Ω - 2.0Ω coils suites me (YMMV), I can use them on any of my mods. Yet I still like to use a VV mod testing out new DIY liquids I may make. It gives me an easy method of experimentation.

I like the versatility of VV/VW, since I like to tweak the temperature of my vape throughout the day. I also like the control. If I want 4v it stays at 4v. I find myself switching out the batteries in my Reo pretty fast, since it may not stay as hot as I want it to be when chain-vaping. I love the flavor though. :)
