I have seen a couple of those companys. Was tempte when I first started but I do read terms and conditions. No matter what seems to work sombody will try to get the better of you

Ha... I ordered one of these free trials and the order is in the mail. Now I come across this site and thread:-( No worries, I did read all the fine print and although it took me two weeks of thinking before ordering, I am aware of what I'm in for. Happy to find the forum though as I'm very interested in the subject and seriously wanting to stop smoking.

I've seen some of the late night commercials about e-cigs...it's actually where I got my first idea. However, I'm reluctant to just order TV stuff and for some reason, the people in the commercials were acting like the were using some kind of crack pipe, not vaping. They were scary looking. OTOH, just about everything you'd want to know about most stuff is on the Internet these days and I took to my own research. Little did I know ECF, an all inclusive, participatory forum was out here, just waiting to spread a little truth and lite on the subject. I'm GLAD I've found this found; I believe I was blessed and lucky not to have gotten caught up in some hair raising, credit card rip-off out here all on my own. Now I'm going to track down information about DIY e-liquids!! That's my next adventure in vaping!! Wish me luck!

For anyone that would be tempted by the "Free Trial" it would be better to just spend $9.99 and try a disposable 510. They work well. I have one I fire up from time to time with a drip tip on it. It vapes, so for someone that is curious, it is a small investment with the understanding "it only gets better"

Thanks for the good advice. I was lucky enough to have read all the way through the "terms and conditions" before I ordered. I would have been charged an outrageous amount of money after receiving the product. I am so glad that I found this forum...great info from great people!

Before I was aware of this forum, late 2010, I did purchase the "free trial" kind. This "bat and switch" marketing technique is used not only by e-cig companies but if you notice on TV commercials etc. they promote "free trial" all over the place.
