Thanks for this. I guess the "free trials" advertisements I saw were useful, because they did get me to look into the whole e-cig business. Thank heavens, I read the fine print before ordering any of those, then went hunting for a better alternative...which led me eventually to here.

Now I'm impatiently awaiting my first order. I did end up spending almost as much as I would have spent on some of those "free trials," but I feel a lot more informed in my choice.

I am so happy that i found this place. What a wealth of info there is to be had. Glad i never went with one of the free offers. Nearly did just the other day. Now my order for my first 510 (first e-cig as well in fact), is hopefully winging its way to me as i speak. Looking forward to not having a pack of anologs where ever i go.

Heres hoping.

That is happening here in Florida also, that is how I heard about E-Cigs., however, reading all that small print, I decided it was above my means, thankfully I listened to my self.........Self didn't go for it, but used self's computer to research, glad I did I found this site. All of you who are members ...I give you my thanks, plus to the suppliers, who continue to far exceed in servicing our needs.

Glad to see so many people are happy about E-cigs, Joye 510 model is pretty awesome!

Here is some info on 510 from my personal experience after 40 days of using it.
auto v. manual battery:
Manual wins, no need to inhale to activate the battery, just press the button and slowly inhale for 3 sec. 5 sec. 10 sec , tons of vapor.
Auto just seems like I need to inhale harder, also while inhaling if you want a breath of air then battery turns off for 1 second, with manual it just keeps on working and then you just inhale again for more vapor.
Standard 180mAh manual battery:
works fine just does not hold enough charge to last.
Mega 280mAh manual battery:
charge last almost twice as long, having these two gets me thru the work day 9 to 5.
Purchased a PCC unit which has a battery of its own, will hold 2 carts, 1 atomizer on which you can have your 3rd cart attached and one 510 battery which the PCC will charge up to 4 times.

Best regards and good luck.

so im kind of stuck. i ordered one of these free trials from smokeassist and have yet to recieve it. i wish i would have ran into this website before i placed my order. i am very interested in getting set up with an e-cig i really like the concept. the lady on the phone told me i can get my money back if returned before the '30 day' free trial expires but i forfeit the shipping and tax. i called back the next day after realizing i couldt pay my phone bill due to the charges on my account and the guy said there was nothing he could do because the product had already shipped but if i send the package back without opening it i can get a full and complete refund. would it be worth it just to eat the shipping and tax once i get the device to grab a handful of their cartridges and send them back to get my initial cartridige purchase back? i want to eventually get a decent quality e-cig. but for now i have to deal with what im stuck in.

In a word, YES

Due to the lack of punctuation, I have no idea what you are saying here, but my statement above still stands. Get out with as little cost to you as possible. Also, be prepared to have to do CC chargebacks, since your first "monthly supply" should be billed riiiight about the time you get the package...

Seriously- I took a quick look at the site, and while they "copyrighted" the entire page (pop-up ftl) to keep ppl from copy/pasting their info, I took a screenshot.

These costs are ABSURD. 'nuf said there- look around here in the New Members area, and you will find what's right for you, at 1/3 the cost.

Oh, and...

These ppl are selling nothing more than "an exciting oral fixation alternative." There is NO, 0, nil, zilch, nada nicotine in their product...

Hope this helps? :p

thanks for the info caveman. the lady on the phone said if i want to cancel i have got to send any unused cartiges back to them since my initial 20 have already been paid for. to my understanding ive already paid for my first months supply and shouldnt be billed again until 30 days after when i ordered everything. so my plan is to grab a handful of extras and say i smoked them to try and rip them off a little since i kind of got screwed. all of this including canceling my "account" with them before my 30 day period. i kind of like the idea of a no nic. e-cig. ive heard some brands offer 0 nic. cartridges. but anyways ill look around. glad i found this site! oh and btw the free gift card incentives are a RIP OFF! thanks guys.

so absolutely none of them are legit?
Yes, there ARE legit trial sellers out there, but as stated in the OP...
To all new members that are thinking about getting into the world of PV's (e-cigs)...

Do not order "free trial" offers. Most of these companies offering so-called free trials are thought of as scams by most members of this forum.
[...]
While there are a few that aren't flat out just taking advantage of the "e-cig craze", even a *safe* free trial seller has been found to charge 200-300% more than normal, and you won't really have any options to meet your needs- other than -/+ the amount of cartridges per month.

The rest of the OP, as well as other's posts, go on to explain some of the worst problems you will encounter trying to deal with most of the free trial sellers.
