This happend to me once and never again. lol Just as mentioned above the ad said free ecig, just pay 4.95 for shipping. I got them and was not pleased but I thought for 4.95 it wasn't a big deal. Until I got my bank statement and saw that they charged me 149.99. I was screaming my head off. I called the company and they said. It was in the bottom of my contract that if I kept for 14 days I would end up paying that price. Those crooks had it in fine fine print. small prints as can be. Beware!

So, here is an example ...
You only have to pay for shipping 4.95, that all. 14 day free trial. So, I sign up. 5 minutes later I get an email confirmation and 10 minutes later I get a phone call asking me to confirm the order and informing me that they will also send me a 100 dollar gift card. Now that is too much like a free lunch, so I start looking.

The domain the email has been sent from does not exist (not a good sign) So, I call asking about this ... :How do you make money?" no real answer so I press on and as the same question. Finally she point me to a web site (different domain from where I sign up or the email was sent from) to a terms and conditions page and find the following ...

14 day trial is counted from the time of the order (including shipment time and I assume they don't use next day air) if you don't return the complete order they will charge your credit card (used for the shipping) 106.96 for the order and every 30 days they will ship me a month supply for a low price of 62.95 every month until the deal is cancelled!

I immediately cancelled the order and my 4.95 get refunded the same day. But if they didn't call me with the free 100 dollar gift card, I would of been stuck with some crap for 100 buck and the aggravation to send it all back.

I've seen these ads before as well, but I'm not a trusting soul so I just assume that anytime there is a "free trial offer" (no matter what it is for)... it's a scam. Last year we decided we wanted to try the e-cig... like the ones you see in those free trial ads... but I didn't want to pay $100+ for something that I wasn't sure would work so we cheaped out and bought a couple of starter kits from a gas station near our house. Honestly, the device itself just didn't work well (the cartriges lost juice quickly & the charger never quite charged it to last more than an hour), but after using it a few times we both realized that if we could find a decent, dependable device then, yes, it would have helped us quit. As with most things... we put it aside and kept on smoking the real things. Just recently we found a local dealer that stands by his product and tried it again and have been very happy. We spent a little more on a better product (still under $100) and have been doing very well. I've gone from a pack a day to a pack a week and have cut back even more this week.
