Hey guys, when using reg stamps be sure and weigh your pkgs. You can go to USPS and calculate postage. If you pick letter it gives you the option for a rigid letter, that is the one you want. I remember there being a time awhile back people were just throwing stamps on and the people recieving them had to pay postage due because the proper amt wasent put on them

Yup, that's why I usually just put 5 on there. 5 almost always covered whatever I was sending. I think once someone had to pay a dime or something, but it was a pretty big package.

Mailman picked up all three padded envelopes today 2 were only 2 1/2 ounces and the other one was not even a ounce so if he didn't I was gonna chase him down the street LOL.

This is not true. You need to select "Package" and the minimum postage would be $1.22, even if you only have one 3 ml. sample bottle.

Also, be careful putting packages with stamps in the mailbox if you think they might be over 13 oz. Even if the carrier takes it, it might still be returned to you at any point before the destination.

I work at the PO, and don't want your stuff to be returned undelivered!

I always select thick envelope/package and I have a postal scale so mine is always weighed (have gotten to many postage dues delivered to me and it can be annoying).

I only get the 1.22 when I check 1 ounce but 2 ounces and above the price goes up. Even if it weighs 1.4 ounces I check the 2 ounce mark because I don't want the receiver to end up owing anything.

No chance with the lady who works at our post office LOL. It is such a tiny tiny town that I guess she has time to go through and weigh everything coming and going because if it's just a penny off she will tell you about it. I think that is another reason I now make sure I weigh and even add a little on the postage because I don't want her coming after me LOL.
