What about using a vacuum sealer on the canning jars?
Would this help?

It works well actually....I have been using the 1/2 pint jars and using the jar attachment on my sealer.

Just darker color to inhibit uv light from affecting juice in a negative way.

You can purchase aerosol cans of argon gas. Before you cap your nic just squirt some of the argon into the top of the jar. It's heavier than air and will keep oxygen away from the surface of the nc. Oxygen is the enemy of nic for long term storage. You can get argon at amazon. It's used to preserve wine that has been opened.

I thought I looked all over the interweb for argon...hmm..I even approached one of our industrial gas vendors and he said the general public can not buy argon......but I can buy a bottle using (through my company) ...but that bottle would last 3 lifetimes one squirt at a time...

Anything that eliminates air will help. Not sure how it would help the air inside the jar though.
