it's your choice really; you can look at it in two ways...
1. you could get the same vape you get now but with lower nic
2. get a more intense vape with the same nic.

it depends if you want more or not, I haven't really dropped my nic, I started with kanger evods and now use mech mods and sub ohm rebuildables and still using 18mg nic and don't need nor plan to change that

Up to you, I would try just continuing on.

There are times where I like having a different nic content juice. Obviously, with my morning coffee :p. In the evenings, I vape more in front of the TV, so I have a lower nic content.

When I step down permanently to a lower level for my normal daytime vaping, all of my juices follow suit as I purchase them.

Also, I know that if I use an RDA, I use a step down. That again is usually in the evening when I can sit and drip.

Hope helps

Before I would drop my nicotine I would try the new set up and see how you and your partner fare. If you start to feel dizzy and sweaty and generally ill, then I would step down. I know each person is different but I've not needed to step down with any of my uogrades. I now make my own coils and sub ohm. Still I haven't NEEDED to step down. If of course your wanting to lower your nicotine intake, then gradually step down. But if your worried it will make you ill, because of the difference of each persons sensitivity, I wouldn't be able to answer that. You should give it a try then make your decision from there. I've read where people need to cut back because of upgrades but I personally never had to. It depends on your individual body. Hope this Helps and best wishes :)

What others have said is good advice, IMHO. Just listen to your body.

Another aspect is the vaping usage level. Not sure that's clear, so I'll give an example.

I started out with 18mg/ml nic, and am still using that level of juice mix (bought too much looking for that ADV). At first, when I was weaning down my smoking, I chain vaped almost all day. Now that I'm almost off of cigs (still have a couple/day - used to be 35/day), my body's telling me that I don't need as much nic. How am I accommodating that while still using 18mg nic. Well, I'm finding that I don't vape as often and can actually put my vaping gear down for longer than 5 minutes! - LOL!

I never thought of it that way but it really makes sense! I guess it's time I start experimenting with less nicotine than my regular 12mg!

Just my two cents on this but yea this happened to me before. I was trying out some Space Jam flavors at a shop (which were all 0nic) and was looking for something a little different than my usual Sugar Bear/Sweet Tooth. Tried them all and was set on Pluto. Got it in a 6 and went to grab boba and was vaping but the juice just tasted horrible lol don't know if it was a mix of the after tastes from the boba and the juice but it just didnt fly with me after leaving the shop

as gear and vape skills advance, nic level decidedly drops.

When first started vaping, needed 24 mg nic juice to not have to light up, using a ego and a pt2. Got into rba's and running at 15 watts, and had to drop it down to 18 mg nic. As my builds and wicking skills improved, and watts increased, had to drop it down to 12 mg nic.

Currently vaping 12 nic mg juice gives me more nic delivery than an ego and changeable using 24 mg nic. If you are getting woozy, and feeling loosely, tis the body telling ya to dial down the nic level.

Better the gear, vape skills and knowledge, the better the nic delivery and vape. Through out ones vape career, nic levels will undoubtedly change. Listening to the body, is the best way to determine if change is needed.

I smoked camel filters, 1.5 pad. At me current level of vape, 12 mg nic juice supplies more than enough nic to satisfy me needs.

Vape long and Prosper.!!!!

The Nautilus Mini is capable of producing a considerably higher volume of vapor than the Evod. That will mean more nicotine delivered to your body.

Order a small amount of juice at half the strength nic you are currently using. Do some experimenting with different power levels and air flow to find the type of vape you like. If your body is telling you that you are getting too much nic use the lower nic juice to cut down the nic level of the juice you are using.

Thanks everyone - I was wondering if using the new setup would increase the nic intake - I guess that once again the best thing to do is just bail in and find out exactly what it does to me - I had not even considered the taste of the nicotine in the juice - I would like to cut it on down, but know that after 40+ years it won't be immediate - I started at 24 but after 2 weeks dropped to 18 without much noticeable difference - my wife is still at 24 and she can stay there as long as she feels like it - there is no way I am going to push her to do anything except what she wants to - I learned better many years ago

thanks again

And I can understand what you are saying - but I honestly enjoy vaping, even just using the evod - not just as a way of getting the nic my body is telling me it wants, but vaping to be vaping - I like the taste, I like the feel, I like the physical act of vaping - If I ever get to the point where I cut out nicotine altogether I plan on continuing with 0 nic

and yes I am looking forward to this next step up and the huge difference in taste - a guy at work handed over his istick the other day for mr to try out his ADV as well as gave me a small sample of it - the difference in just the one hit I took off his and the taste of it in mine is amazing
