To be clear, electronic cigarettes are not at this time classified as tobacco products.In the US, e-liquid is classified as a tobacco product (silly, but really probably the best way to deal with it in our bureaucracy, legitimizes it to some extent, makes above board chain stores comfortable selling it). This means you shouldn't use it in any "tobacco free" areas. Basically, if it's not cool for you to smoke there, you probably shouldn't vape.

If the FDA issues deeming regulations to apply Chapter IX of the FSPTCA to electronic cigarettes, then they will be tobacco products.
And the FDA has made it very clear that they intend to do so, but they have not done so yet.

Did a Safeway today, the ethics of it debatible.I do... sort of. I have yet to whip it out in Walmart or someplace like that. I do it in my car, in my house etc. I don't, however, do it around my 5-year old step son.
