Hey hi, its me again, currently vaping various juices...diff flavors, on my xcube ultra with mutation xs rda, recently bought 2 pen style mods from smok, v22 and the vape pen plus, wondering, do you guys still use tanks? I mean after purchasing these 2 mods my life is not the same, like always using tissue to fix leaks, cleaning glass for perfect flavor, etc etc etc...but the only benefit ive got is ...some sorta ease with the vape pen plus with the 0.3 coil from v22 (the 0.25 coil sucks! no vape and no taste/flavor, dont buy it)...producing good amount of vapor and flavor...do dripping, load and vape....but you know that cleaning stuff, so just wondering, do you guys still use tanks in 2018?

PS: Also...i'm using double the amount of juice comparing to rda's...am i harming myself with chemicals?

Define ' tank '.
Basic clearo, carto tank, replaceable head tank, rba / rta etc...

Yes, use a tank everyday.
Cleaning?, only a quick rinse when I replace the head.
Leaks?, no, I have no use for fiddly 'tanks' or any delivery devices that leak.

Double what amount?, plenty folks go through 10ml - 30ml per day.
How would you harm yourself with chemicals unless you add them to your liquids or buy suspicious/low quality liquids that may or may not have something in them they shouldn't.
Pg,Vg, flavorings & nic, thats it, shouldn't be any colorants or 'chemicals'.

"Ahh, the chemi-kills! They burn!" Actually, I love chem-kills. Literally everything (like actually, literally literally, all matter in the entire universe) is made of "chemicals." Of the chemicals (let's just call them "ingredients") in your e-liquid, the flavor ingredients are most likely to be harmful. That's not to say they are very likely, just that however unlikely it is that they are harmful, it's even more unlikely for the other ingredients (PG, VG, and nicotine should be the only "other ingredients" in your e-liquid -- maybe NaCl [table salt, in the form of saline solution], H20, or PEG400 [polyethylene glycol] if you're old-skool or have allergy issues with PG/VG -- and they are all rather harmless in the amounts we use for vaping. Keep away from kids, of course; also don't get it in your eyes, and it can give you a mild stomach ache if you swallow some. Do be more careful with the nicotine if you use a high-potency concentrate as for DIY.)

On the subject of tanks, yes I still use a few (rebuildable though, I'm done with "drop-in" coils) tanks. In current rotation, I have the Kanger STM (with RBA head), and China clones of the KFL+ and Doggystyle (both rebuildable MTL tanks). I rarely have leaking issues. I won't say "never," but basically never. Once in a while I'll get a little "gurgling" in the airflow, but it's been a long time since I've actually had liquid come out the holes. The KFL does get some accumulation underneath the tank (from condensation, since the airflow-adjustment screw ports are on the bottom) but not enough that it seeps out.

I've been vaping for nearly 6 years. Used first generation clearomizer tanks, cartomizers, cartotanks, bottom feeder setups, RTA (Kayfun), and RDA's.

Currently using the Uwell Crown 1 clearomizer tanks for over a year and loving them as much as anything else that I've used.

I vape anywhere from 4 ml to 8 ml a day.

I also have used the entire lineup of gear over the years since I started vaping. I don't care if direct dripping has made a comeback... I have loved tanks ever since they popped into existence. The fact they're made of glass now just makes it even sweeter since I don't have to worry about "crack juice" anymore! I don't use leaky tanks... I also don't clean between switching e-liquids... just when it gets gunky inside.

Yum yum yum

6-7ml a day here rather than 25/30 on the dripper!

After suffering through the misery of using smok products I am RTA only and always the only exception to this rule are the odd little disc coils on the revvo, and the upcomming mace tank.
It's an amazing new coil technology that feels very much like my mesh RTA but not quite as good.

Dripping is so old school. As soon as tanks were invented i welcomed them with open arms - as did most of the vaping population of the world. Squonkers ? Meh, just a fad for 'professional vapers' and cool people. I'm not cool and i'm not a professional anything (cynic maybe). I love tanks and they love me and i say 'Pah' to chemicals....

Gonna stop now, i'm veering off track.
