from http://www.rauchless.com/english/company.htm

In February of 2007, a group of engineers, businessmen and financial experts came together in order to initiate the development and introduction of a smokeless HiTech cigarette to the global marketplace.

They founded Rauchless™ Inc. In Nashville,TN with branches in Belgium and China.

Fundamental research has been completed and technological development is still taking place re said HiTech cigarette. The initiators have already invested considerable assets into the company.

Um, I think the Chinese may have got a bit of a lead on you guys!

But seriously, is this a different product or not? I just cannot tell from the website.

Ahh yesss.... American ingenuity at its finest - rip off the Chinese (lol) :D . The device looks like and is described exactly the same as the Chinese brands, except for the zippo part. So, what charges the zippos? The pick doesn't show a cord. I would be weary of rubbing the Chinese brands in their face though. If they are big enough, and if they have really invested allot in developing it (doubtful), they may be inclined to try and take measures to stifle competition. I think we should sit back and see what they come up with. Competition is a good thing in this case and I think that's what everyone here has been wanting.

Smokey... If you could please... that link isn't working and I am most interested in that Feb 2007 date you posted.

Here is what I have come to conclude based on some research and I am missing one final connection... but I can keep digging for sure:

I am working on a link between this company and big tobacco and IF that Feb 2007 is real, then that explains the real reason behind the Waxman/Kennedy bill's not getting the grandfather date changed.

PS: For the leading provider in cutting edge technology... my mini-me has enough understanding of a website to slap that crappy site up. Seriously.

They're going to take over the business and either then shut it all down or make it outrageously expensive so that people will rather continue smoking analogs. This company is obviously funded by some entity such as Phillip Morris. This just means that they knew about e-cigs before they even got as popular as they are now.

But then, why haven't they been able to do this yet? Maybe because big tobacco has the same enemy as we all do? The FDA could be the only thing stopping them from mass producing e-cigs. (My doomsday scenario)They'll introduce it at a low cost and once the company shuts down all the other suppliers and demand goes up, up goes the cost. Factories in China, Japan, UK, Belgium and where ever else shut down. Now the product is only coming from ONE factory in the US and no one can afford it.

Why couldn't this just be simple?

Here is what I see happening: They hope the tobacco bill goes through. All of the competition is banned right out of existence and then when our supplies run low... they ride in on their horse and charge $300 for kits and $100 for 10ml of crappy juice. And guess what? We buy it because we are desperate OR we don't and smoke something else.

Lacey, I wanted to see where they were so I looked it up on a map. They're located in a residential neighborhood. (Not an up-scale one either)

Go to the street view on the map here 257 wallace rd nashville tn - Google Maps

Well... I was going to clean the house today... but screw that. I will let the dust bunnies roam for one more day and will put my notes in order. :D

Smokefree Innotec Names Belgian Group for Packaging Design

Nashville, TN – May 15, 2009 – Smokefree Innotec, Inc. (symbol: Pink Sheets - SFIO) (Welcome to the Future - Smokefree Innotech Inc.) announced today that it has entered into an alliance with Guy Bout and Olaf Cornelis, partners in The Funbox Company, a Brussels, Belgium-based group, for the packaging design of the Smokefree Innotec products. The Funbox Company design will feature a revolutionary packaging of the filters, which will have the same dimensions of a standard pack of cigarettes, but having been adapted to blister pack the mouthpieces. The package will be easy in use, attractive in design and an eye-catcher on the shelf. Perhaps more importantly, all packaging will be manufactured out of recycled paper product and, therefore, environmentally friendly, just like the Company’s “tobacco innovation” itself.

The Funbox Company will also play a pivotal role in introducing, distributing and marketing the Smokefree Innotec product in the Benelux countries (The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg) later this year.

Lacey - first I'd like to thank you for all the time you put into keeping us informed here on the forum. I can't even imagine the hours of time you are putting into this! THANK YOU!

Am looking forward to reading your notes on this whole thing when you post them. This one does have a particular stench associated with it, doesn't it?
