Do you trust this liquid?

Another thing that AntiMartyr mentioned is that his bottle was stamped 16mg and the 24 over the 16. However, the 16mg label under the 24 on mine was another sticker. (Both of which came off when I lifted the 24mg label...

And, I have started using mine but I didn't know they were double labeled. However, AntiMartyr also said that they boost the juice themselves. hrmm... makes me itch my head.

Mine are double labeled as well I will post pics when I hit 15 posts here. I am new to these forums but I am not new to vaping.

You know....If they just would have posted it in the product description instead of in a seperate side bar. That would have helped.

What would help, is if people became responsible for there own mistakes. Shawn provides all the info on his site. It is the CUSTOMERS responsiblity to read the info.......no matter where the location. The info is there. I enjoy Shawn site and his commitment to excellent service. His products are some of the best I've oredered. Next time you wanna bag on someone, check to see if the error might fall on yourself.......not the vendor.

Not to run the "ra-ra" chant for Shawn, but I havent had any issues with him or the Dekang juices (yet). It clearly states on his web site under the "liquid info" tab that:

All 24 and 36mg liquids are boosted with pure nicotine to reach that desired level of strength.
All flavorless liquids are mixed, and bottle on the premises using food grade propylene glycol, or vegetable glycerin depending on which option you choose.
** Note that line 7 of the ingredient list will change with different flavors.

I would read that as he is "boosting" the nic levels from the 16mg up to the 24/36mg levels on his own, just as any DIY'er might do.

Do I know this for a fact? No, I dont - I also dont have any way of knowing how much is actually in the bottle.

Do I trust him as a supplier? No question. Helpful, professional and obviously well thought of to be listed on the board.

Do I think you are over-reacting? Absolutly not, you have every right to question what you got if you think that its not what it says it is.

Do I like the Dekang juices? I think so but then again, I havent tried any others to be certain.... I will admit that some I have bought are friggen rude though..

Heh - the gist of what I'm reading is people trust a Chinese corporation over a local distributor. Without additional input, both should be just as worthy of that trust.

Nothing wrong with the Chinese liquids, and it's simple math and careful measuring to "boost" or "cut" a liquid. Personally, I "cut" my own and DIY. My home mixes are clear, nearly colorless and taste as good or better than commercial.

I think the only thing we're all getting at, one way or another, is validation from the crew on ECF that believe this is OK. Well, it is for me. I trust you long time vapers and I am not trying to down anyone or anything. As I said in my previous post..."I don't know" ;)

Thanks

Im with you on this one. I'm not trying to rag on anyone. Litecigusa has some of the best prices on hardware out there. My sister is going to order from them when she gets her income tax return.

Shipping was prompt and litecigusa has one of the best selections of hardware I have seen on the net to date.

Aside from this "boosting" thing...I think that litecigusa has the best selection and prices on the web! I will recommend them to family and friends wanting starter kits.

I think I would have checked with the vendor before going on a rant about it here. Im sure Shawn isnt trying to "dupe" you. He runs a pretty respectable business and has mostly excellent reviews on here.If you have a problem im sure he will make it right for you.

Did you even notice how I didnt even post who I got it from in my original post? It was only AFTER people startied asking that I provided that information. I am not a troll, nor did I ever post this with any intentions of slanderizing anyone.

Shawn uses Dekang juices and the highest it comes in is 'high' or 16-18. That's why he boost them as stated on his info page.

He also has some self made flavors.

If you think about it the all time favorite juice vendors on ECF are self mixed or "street" as you put it.
MRS T, Tasty Vapor and several others I can't remember at the moment.

He is now talking about dropping it all because of this thread. Don't think he likes being seen in a bad light.

Oh and I'm not sure what you're talking about when you say they mention something off to the side. Are you talking about this?
All 24 and 36mg liquids are boosted with pure nicotine to reach that desired level of strength.
All flavorless liquids are mixed, and bottle on the premises using food grade propylene glycol, or vegetable glycerin depending on which option you choose.

Other than the whole sticker mixup, I am satisfied with litecig. They are quick, got everything I wanted, I like my new juices and if I'm feeling withdraw from nicotine, maybe I'm at my quit peak from analogs.
I got a few IM's last week asking about the quality of the juice I got from them and I gave it thumbs up to all that have asked and even mentioned that someone might have a problem with their own tastebuds rather than the juice they got ;)

The internet, however, is one place to question things since other people are talking about it. that's the great thing and also the bad thing as well. Misinformation has always been a bane but when people correct you for you not knowing...then there you go. ;)

My thoughts, thanks for sharing your findings...
I'm sure if I would have found the labeling like this on my own I would have asked questions as well.
That's why we chat with each other.

Yeah.......Shawn IS fixing it. Shawn decided that he will NO LONGER sell juice at 24mg or 36mg........due to this guys claims. PLUS.....to make up for losing those 2 selections from his site.....he will be increasing his prices. oh.....and no more "Duece" at all!!!!!

Thanks alot, TheAntiMartyr.......Hope those people you recommend LiteCig to enjoy higher prices......and less selection.

I think a lot of vendors do this to reduce overhead obviously. I have found the same flavor from the same vendor to be weaker or stronger depending on the nic mg.
I think this has a lot to do with the Dekang debate, I like Dekang as long as the flavor is not diluted. One vendor I have found to have consistent flavor throughout the mg range is Arno at 'Awesome Vapor', he claims he does not cut his liquid, I believe him...proof of the pudding** :)

I've never ordered from Litecig, but now knowing that their 16mg is factory strength, (which suits me just fine) I'll be buying some. This should take a cut down to 12mg and hold up very well, whereas a 24mg cut to 12mg messes the flavor up big time.

Look! I am very satisfied with the hardware that I got fom them. Like I have said before. I am new to these forums but not new to vaping. I SHOULD HAVE READ THE LIQUID INFO SECTION BEFORE I ORDERED. I Just ASSUMED it would be the same stock YNDK liquid that I have ordered form other vendors in the past. That is why I came here to ask questions. I did not know that this kind of thing was a common practice.

SHAWN...if you are reading this. Please dont stop doing anything that you are currently doing. I will be recommending you to family and friends. My sister Lesia will be ordering from you in fubruary when she gets her income tax return.

I apologize for any confusion or strife that I have caused. That was never my intention.

Don't worry Theantimartyr, I'm sure you didn't mean for this to happen..

Howz about we all bombard the mods to delete this whole damn thread a bit quick.
