Do you typically fill Kayfun v3.1 with fill hole, or through top?

Wondering how most of you fill your kayfun v3.1

Just ordered one. I recall reading that if you use a syringe/needle, you'll mess up the fill hole.

What are you supposed to use to fill from the fill hole? Does it come with a pointy top for filling?

Do most of you fill from the top? :)

Thanks!

Just wondering.... (oh, anyone interested, 101Vape has the kayfun v3.1 for $15.99!!!)

I fill it from the top. Only problem I have is when I remove the top and fill it then reapply it, I have to blow a hunk of juice out of the bottom air hole. Other than that small problem it's always worked well enough for me. I'm too lazy to have to take it off my mod every time I wanna refill it

i fill from the bottom on both my kf's.....
it holds more juice that way and when running dual coils in them i need all the juice i can.
on one clone i use a 16ga blunt needle. on the other just a pointy tip on the bottle.

oh....after i fill, i always crack the seal on top cap, then tighten back up. it has too much pressure if you dont

Wow... Seems most people fill it from the top.

I was hoping that I could fill it from the side fill hole, but it seems most people have problems doing it that way....

Guess I'll try it from the side, and see if it works alright. I just worry about messing up the fill hole and having leaking problems....

Thanks for all of the replies!

The postman brought my EHPro Kayfun 3.1 today. About two hours ago I finished watching the Madvapes instructional video and filled mine from the top after coiling it. It's working fine and producing good flavor and vapor. I couldn't crack the seal on the bottom cap to get to the bottom fill hole. I may have to pick up a couple of those rubber jar lid grippers to get it off when it needs juice the next time. The video said they get easier to unscrew after a few fills.

So far I like it. At least I don't have to worry about Kanger and Aspire heads lasting a half a day anymore!

If yu are going to use the side fill hole with the ball detent, be sure to use a blunt needle. Not a sharp wedge tip such as a syringe. The sharpened tip will wedge between the ball and wall of the tube it rides and seals in. this will score the tube, and it will leak for ever more!

Also, don't crack open the top cap if filling from the bottom when using a small blunt tip. Plenty of air escapes. When you crack open the top, it lets pressure in. Negating the vacuum required for the Kayfun's to work properly. It will however, just about guarantee a leak if you insist!

When it was close to empty yesterday I poured out the rest of the juice into the bottle and washed out the parts. I backed off the bottom contact screw and used a new pair of heavy duty rubber gloves to try and remove the bottom cap to get to the filler hole. No dice. I guess I'm going to have to freeze it for a while and see if the parts will shrink enough to get the cap unscrewed.

For now, I'm getting good results by filling with the top cap off. There's a little leakage after that from the side air hole, but it goes away once I blow out a spot of juice into a napkin with the top cap in place. It's vaping without leaks or gurgles.

filling from the top is really easy and fast don't let it scare ya

After doing it a couple of times I like using the top cap. I probably wouldn't use the hidden screw hole anyway since the top cap fill is so easy. I'm liking the Kayfun and I'm into the second fill. I think I'll change next fill from the small polycarbonate insert to the large one to reduce weight and provide better viewing of the juice level.
