I'm curios to how many others go out and vape with smokers. I smoked for almost 20 years and really enjoyed the social aspect of smoking. Since I put down the analogs and started vaping a couple months ago; I still go outside with the smoking crew for the social aspect. I've noticed that vaping while getting all of the second hand smoke does detract from my vaping experience. I have trouble getting the good flavor that I've quickly become accustomed too with vaping because of the second hand smoke. Do you still take smoke breaks with the smoking crew or did you leave that behind when you switched to vaping?

Just about everyone I work with uses some kind of tobacco product, which made it stupid hard to quite smoking before the first B&M opened up in town. My problem was I fell in love with ciggies when I first tried them. but since the higher ups at my job banned on the job vaping because too many customers thought we were smoking an illegal product. So I am confined to smoking with the other guys outside, not too big of a deal though, my nic cravings are a lot more milder since I dropped the analogs.

When I am out with friends and have the option to vape inside I go out when they go out to smoke their cigs, as long as the weather is not terrible. I do still enjoy that social part of it, but the smell of the analogs does bother me most of the time. LOL! Most places around here have banned ecigs inside so i really don't have a choice most times anyway.

I should clarify......I never have the urge to smoke an analog anymore, even when with other smokers, but the smell bothers me as in it STINKS terribly to me now!

I discovered vaping after I retired, so the work time break areas were something I didn't have to use anymore. I could have introduced many to vaping had I started while I was still working. My job took me to office buildings all over the area and I knew people in all the smoking areas.

It's no wonder that companies have sent all the smokers outside. 80% or more of the public are non-smokers and don't want to smell it when they enter your office environment. I can remember a time when the only place that smoking was off limits was movie theaters, computer rooms or anywhere that flammable gases were in use. You could smoke in hospitals, restaurants, and office buildings all over. People smoked at their desks, in the halls, and at lunch.

Times have changed and it's for the better. Vaping is now considered acceptable most places, but I look for more restrictions as more people switch.
