During a medical procedure, the nurse (an older female) in the room asked if I smoked. I mentioned that I switched to a vaporizer, and she began to go into the "that's not good for you" routine. Before she could get going, the doctor (a younger male) jumped right on my bandwagon with "It's better than smoking. Cigarette smoke has thousands of poisonous chemicals that vapor doesn't." A Nurse Practitioner I see at a local walk-in clinic had the same positive response, and she checks my lungs during each visit.
There are health care professionals out there who are informed and/or open-minded. I don't really blame those who seem slow to catch up (or lack the desire to do so), because they've been brain-washed that "if it looks like smoke, it is smoke and just as dangerous." Mind-set can be changed.
