I love my e-cig, absolutely love it.
Its kept me from analogs since the day I got it in the mail.

The one problem I have, is that carts absolutely suck.
If Im not getting liquid in my mouth, im getting an awful burnt poly taste and the poly sticks to the atty.
I finally resolved to drip 100% without any poly in my carts at all.
Its totally worth removing the cart and dripping every 6 puffs or so if I dont have to deal with the awful taste of liquid or burning poly

I feel like carts are done very.. wrong. They need to work better and not piss me off so much lol
I cant find a way to solve every issue I have with them.
I wouldnt even mind if the carts costed more if they actually worked right.
Please tell me Im not the only one thats thoroughly annoyed by carts in general

You're not. I hate carts, also.

Except for when I'm working on reviews I drip, exclusively...I can't handle constantly having to re-fill, un-squash, fluff, clean, etc...
I only use the carts when I need a new mouthpiece. Can't stand them, especially in the 901's. I find that they fall down on the atomizer a lot, so I use them up, and toss them. Dripping works much better for me.

I tried dripping as an experiment to see how long I got out of an atomizer and found, that contrary to numerous reports, the atomizer lasted the longest of any that I had previously used. It may keep the coil temp down and constanty wet.

Since then I gave up on cartridges all together and get a better life out of the atomizers---------Sun

i'm also beginning to hate carts. I still use carts on my 510 , they seem to wick fairly good and when i'm out and about , especially driving , it's near impossible (not to mention unsafe) to try to drip.

the horrible burning flavor disappeared from my 801 when started dripping , still very worried about getting juice in the battery though. Hopefully those manual 801 batteries coming out will be all sealed up so i can drip like crazy

If you have an ecig with an exposed?...external?...atomizer (It's too early and my brains not fully awake yet) like the 401, then I would suggest dipping rather than dripping. You'll get about 20 puffs of cart-free vaping. All the benefits of dripping with less stopping to drip. Don't know what other models have this sort of atomizer though. I've been strictly a 401 guy for a while now. Anyone know?

I do not use carts anymore on my 901 and hit-n-miss on my 510. On my 901 the cart material gets stuck and it is a royal pain in the .... to deal with that all the time. On my 510 the cart material doesn't get stuck as much and I use the 901 cart, but when I really need a quick hit, I take the cart off of it, too.

Glad to read that some are finding the atty life is not as short as others have reported when dripping. Maybe I will have this same experience with my attys.

Exactly lifelong ( love your crane stance avatar lol), that's the main reason I will not give up my 401 atty stock pile lol ( dipping as opposed to dripping last a lot longer).. As for my 901, the filling stopped falling onto my atty when I switched to the rn4075( the wic sits way deeper in the barrel- they do run hotter and need primed a little more often) style instead of the DSL atty...If i do use a cart, like on my 510..I always use the straw mod....

I gave up carts after just a few days of owning my first PV. I have an exposed atomizer so I exclusively dip. Can't stand the mess and fuss of carts.

edit: Also is m401 AND in two months I am still on my first two atomizers.. Not one atty death since I began this new wonderful life changing vape thang~_*

I've tried dripping, and yes, I think it keeps the atomizer cooler. However, it's just too much fiddling with to do if vaping continuously. If I'm busy, I just try to have some juicy full carts ready to swap made up in advance. Every now and then I get industrious and fill a dozen cartridges or so, and I get a few days out of them. It's pretty convenient, despite the disadvantages.
