Does anybody here think V4L is over-priced?

I stopped using V4L for hardware when they were charging $2 - $3 more for blank cartos than just about everywhere else. I just now checked their website and it looks like they've finally got a new Generation 2 KR8 Batt branded as the Titan for $24.95! I can find virtually no difference between the Titan and the Volt from Smokeless Image. Why would I spend $24.95 for a Titan when I could get a Volt for $12.95? maybe I'm missing something. I'm not trying to pick on them really. I just don't understand the monumental markup.

Yeah, sales make them among the cheapest I've found. I've yet to buy anything from them without getting a 38-40% discount.

I don't understand the expensive titan either--- but I've really assumed that you're paying that extra $$$ for the "soft touch" feature. I guess a rubberized coating on the battery is nice... but um, I really don't care enough. The other bats are good for 16.50-17.50, with discount for me that's like $10-11.

As for Blanks, I end up paying 6ish for a 5 pack plus the added bonus of buying in a huge variety of different carto colors (marking all my flavors makes me a little nutty).

Waiting around for the sales gets annoying though.

I got my Volt batts for like $8 or $9. They might still have some of the older non-sealed autos for that price on the site. its a steal IMO becasue the sealed ones dont really offer me anything seeing how i dont drip.

The Volts I just bought have the rubberized coating as well. And sealed to boot. I continue to use V4L for their liquid because I'm hooked on it and it continues to be reasonably priced. I usually don't have a lot of cash on hand, so I can't place a $150 - $300 order to get those big discounts. I guess if you can afford it, it's great.

Well for the record, I've always waited for the sales that don't have a price limit. I think my biggest order through them was for $80. Their sale today is 30% off with no spending cap.

their sales are awesome and they have them constantly, so I can understand why they mark their prices up a little bit. I've never had a problem with their batteries (besides one that came defective...), they're well built overall. I only buy their cool carts from them now and not their juices because a lot of them expire like a month after you get them...which sucks

I don't think it so much that there prices are high, it's the shipping that is so high. 12.50 is not so high for juice but add seven dollors to it and it becomes almost 20 dollors for one bottle. There sales are great but it usualy covers just the shipping when you get done. No way does it cost 7 dollors for shipping on bottle and it comes in a evelope at that. I just wish they would drop the shipping down and ground shipping wouldn't hurt for thos who want it. I would buy why more. Where is that shipping money going anyway?

The reason that the new batteries are $24.95 is because they are SEALED batteries. Automatic batteries, such as your volt (if using automatic) are NOT sealed. Many times juice drips down through the cartomizer and into the battery either shortening their life or killing them dead. This is the FIRST automatic battery that is SEALED!!

While I have no affiliation to V4L, I do recommend them, at least for newbies. After you have vaped for a while, everyone usually wants to upgrade to something, bigger, badder, stronger, and with more options. Hence people go to MOD's.

If you are happy with your volt batteries, then great! If you want a whole new SEALED automatic battery with better air holes, a better rubberized grip AND still have that Diamond LED, then the new Titans are the one's.

But of course...I have since moved on and I am now a Saber Touch guy all the way!!!

And I agree that their shipping is way too high!! And their return policy is not the greatest either. Still waiting on a return from them!

Vapor4life has really good quality kr808 batteries and cartos, and they run almost constant sales - sign up for the newsletter and you will see!! Smokeless Image is also high up there for high quality kr808 stuff. I like both of these companies A LOT.

However, I have BOTH of their sealed autos, and the V4L ones are definitely better....

I'm afraid you are incorrect. The new Volts, which I have are indeed sealed:
