No not at all...the first week of vaping went smoothly without any feining for cigarettes...went to a friends place...and man...was the smell horrible. I even tried a puff and was digusted. It tasted like the first time I ever tried a cigarette...Nasty!...light headed...and till now I still ask my wife...why did we ever smoke that digsting stuff.

I do miss the consistency and predictability of my cigs. I'm only a month or so into it, but sometimes I just get tired of constantly having to d!ck around with my coils and juice to get a taste I enjoy. Didn't have to worry about that with the ciggies; I knew exactly what I was going to get and what it would taste like. I didn't have to worry about airflow and dry-burning my filter… ;-)

Don't get me wrong; I've no interest in going back, but gawd it'd be nice to go a whole day without having to worry about what my next draw was going to taste like. :glare:

I smoked 1.5-2 packs per day for 40 years. The switch to vapor occured in June 2013. My original goal was to gradually quit cigs over 6 months. But, within a few weeks I was completely off cigs and branching out to all the options that vapor has to offer.

No. I don't miss smoking analogs. If a safe tobacco cig came out tomorrow, I would prefer to vape.

I just wish I'd started vaping sooner. Compared to smoking, vaping is far better. Far more choice too. I really honestly truly prefer vaping to smoking, it's a no contest for me :)

I thought I'd miss smoking, but something has just clicked with me and vaping and I couldn't imagine going back to smoking regular cigarettes now

I missed it for the first 4 days i quit smoking. don't know what it was but i kept telling myself that vaping wouldn't cut it and I needed a cigarette... I just decided to vape when the urge was strong and sure enough, the craving for a cigarette would go away! now I have been cigarette free since July 2012 and have only had a handful of cravings for cigarettes (usually when i has without my vape for too long and was around a bunch of smokers). I love everything about vaping and am sooooo grateful i made the switch!! much much much easier then i thought it would be!

I am 20 days cigarette free now and even the first day, I was out at a bar where you could smoke and that was really the only time I ever did smoke. I was smoking about 4-5 packs a week being out for pool 2 nights a week and the bar on the weekends. I didn't miss smoking that night at all. I have since gotten a better setup now and I love vaping more than smoking and have actually started to hate the smell of smoking. I remember when people would ask me to move cause of the smell and I would get annoyed and now I am one of those people that don't like the smell. I will never go back. Not only do I love vaping but I enjoy the fun of the different mods and rebuildable tanks and all that fun stuff too. So I have also gotten a new hobby that is better for me. I may not be saving as much money at the moment but I am enjoying myself and feel so much better and healthier.
