Study: 'Electronic cigarettes' don't deliver - CNN
""They are as effective at nicotine delivery as puffing on an unlit cigarette," said Dr. Thomas Eissenberg, at the school's Institute for Drug and Alcohol Studies."
A lot of these studies treat e-cigs as if they are akin to testing the effects of cyanide on the general public. There are plenty of us who use these devices and are willing to be tested; but I find the claim above really interesting. Has the esteemed Dr ever talked to a user of these devices? Where is the nicotine going (it's in the liquid, so, when you heat it, it has to go somewhere; is the Dr saying that it stays in the carto?)?
It's claims like this that make people just totally disrespect the medical "establishment", this guy has obviously never met a user of this product and talked to them about their experience (like me, accidently quitting analogs by using a ecig; I had no intention of quitting, I just put them down a few months ago and never picked them back up).
