Does anyone else watch LOST?

New ideas about "Why They Died" 5-18-10's episode. I think that is the title. At any rate, I was bored by this episode. Last weeks and this weeks seemed as if they were stalling again. Not enough story to get to the end so...... streach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By making Jack the replacement for Jacob means that, HE WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT BE THE REPALCEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These writers think that they have to twist and turn everything so any straight forward, "This is the way it is folks" really means, "Nope we are just trying to get you to think this way, so we can pull the rug out form beneath you later. Won't that be fun?!?!?!?"

Update on Desmond. Desmond is the replacement for Jacob. And he has been since he started trying to get all the losties to regain their memories of the Island.
Hell, he was probably the replacement at the moment we first saw him on Ocenantic 815 flight.

Ooh, good theory! Yeah, I was a little disappointed with this episode, too. I was just not excited to watch LOST this year as I have been previous years. And I've watched it from the beginning. The finale should be good, but it's not gonna live up to everyone's expectations. I truly think it will end up that the journey was better than the destination.

I also think desmond is going to be the replacement. I think Jacob making jack drink was just to get Jack to do something for him. Everyone serves a purpose for jacob. Who knows, maybe jacob is the evil one. They make him seem all innocent and good, but I have my doubts.

I think we are going to see Charlie in the last episode (finally, I love him) because they said they were taking kate to a concert...I'm interested to see how this all turns out. I hope they do something with the parallel universe.. I'll take philosophy any day over magic and unexplained activity.

BTW john lock plays a really good evil character. I like him better this way.

Exactly, that really is why everyone starts watching this show in the first place, because of the WTF moments. There has been a huge build up to the finale, and that's why everything has been going so slow. I would say that all the good stuff has been saved for the end. I'm just curious what the disappointment levels will be with diehard Lost fans (including me), or the approval (hopefully this).

Kimmy, I think the concert he was referring to is the one that Jack's son mentioned. Maybe it is a Charlie's concert? I didn't think of that. I was thinking maybe Jack's son was playing in some concert because he plays piano??? Desmond needs to get Jack along with Kate and Sayid.

I'm with you re: the parallel universe, I like that best. John Lock is a great evildoer (G.Bush?!). He is actually rather good looking in many shots.

I'm not with you re: Charlie, never have cared for him and don't now in Flash Forward either.

Also agree re: Desmond. He'll be replacement and Jack will go back and marry Kate. The kid they now show as Jack's son is a dead ringer for Kate.

I thought so at first hasn't some time gone by. Desmond ran Locke over and Locke is out of the hospital now. I would think that at least a few days had gone by. Wouldn't the Whitmore party already be over???

sorry i did not read any posts before this. but i am a HUGE lost fan. i have been watching this since literally the first episode which was about 6 years ago. This Sunday is going to be amazing. this 2.5 hour episode is going to blow us all away.

and also lost is the only show/tv i watch other than sports.

I'm with you re: the parallel universe, I like that best. John Lock is a great evildoer (G.Bush?!). He is actually rather good looking in many shots.

Locke is a great villan, but I really am still bitter about him getting killed by Ben. That was one of the most shocking moments in the show for me. I don't know if I'll be satisfied with his ending in the alt universe, I wanted to see him get some better closure in regard to the island. My favorite TV character of all time, probably. And I agree, he is very handsome.

Redgirl, I agree, every week they seem to have even MORE loose ends to tie up. I feel we're getting further away from a satisfactory conclusion rather than closer to one. For me, I'm going to buy the DVD of all the episodes once this is over, sit in bed ALL day (with wine and e cigs) and try to decipher what really happened. I feel sometimes it "gets away" from me and I somehow keep losing important threads.

You know how the writer's make time work in this show... For example, I feel like there is no dawn or dusk on the Island. Latest example of this would be from the last episode - Hurley talks to Jacob(it's day), leaves to go get the rest(Jack, Kate, Sawyer, who should be by logic at best 5 min away from Hurley, a gross overestimation I might add), and the next scene they're sitting by campfire and it's night

I've been thinking it was Desmond for a while now. It makes sense...and Locke not killing him himself makes it even more evident.

Major metropolitan cities are holding their breath, hoping that most people will start their DVRs at 6:00pm, but not actually start watching until 6:45 or so. Allowing them to skip commercials and use their bathrooms as nature calls. If not, they are very concerned over the water pressure in their communities due to 60 % of all the crappers being flushed at the same time (During commercials). Can cause big problems.
