As a smoker i didn't smoke in the house or garage, it was out on the front porch or back patio. but since tanking up vaping a week ago i have no issue vaping in the house. And for some reason i don't feel as horrible about vaping in sight of my kids as i did smoking.

With you 100%. I vape in the house all the time.there is nothing better than blowing vape in the house and knowing no stink is going to come from it.

I vape indoors at my place, never smoked cigs inside. I think I am more self conscious about vaping in public then I was smoking. Even with my fogger at .70 I believe the cloud could be offensive to others and I am mindful of where I am and who is around me, especially children.

I was so self consious my first time outside the house vaping, my ecig started going off and burned my leg.I was mortified, then laughed.I walked into a bar to try it out, 09, it went off with my leg getting hot as all get out, felt like a derp, it was a funny joy.

I vape the same as I smoked -- all the time, everywhere it isn't explicitly forbidden, and I tend spend as little time in such places as possible.

I'm always bemused when I come across a thread like this and a substantial fraction of people say they didn't smoke in their own home, or their car. Really? Bunch of pikers.

I try to treat my vaping like cigs in public places. I pretty much always go to a designated smoking area, just because I don't like making people feel uncomfortable. I live in Hawaii right now and hang out at resorts on the weekends a lot but I try not to blow clouds around people relaxing on the beach. I also vape at around .4 ohms so it's a little obnoxious at times. When I'm at home my mod in glued to my hand and I vape everywhere.

Only time I ever stopped smoking inside my home was when I was trying to switch over to vaporizing using those old KR808Ds, I figured the inconvenience would encourage me to stay inside and use my (crappy) vaporizer. I spent a lot of time smoking on my front porch with a good book, unfortunately.

This is a interesting thread to read. A lot of different views.

Personally, I never smoked in the garage, basement, nor in my car. I do vape in all of those places at home. However, in public I don't vape indoors (even at bars that allow smoking indoors). I generally don't vape anywhere where it's not OK to smoke when I'm in public. I figure other people think of it similar to smoking, so I try to be conscious of others comfort. I'll walk outside and vape when I'm out somewhere, but yet I'll stand a few feet away from the smokers. Vaping while being around smoke lessens the enjoyment to me. But it makes it hard when the curious (sometimes obnoxious) smoker comes to talk to me about it and blows their smoke around me. I try to be conscious of others, but not everyone returns the favor.

I vape a lot more than I smoked, but at a much lower nic level ;) It's especially more fun when I started rebuilding and getting into some of the nicer stuff. However in public, I'm a tad bit self conscious how I look when I'm vaping, blowing out a good bit of vapor walking down the street turns some heads :p Which is why I keep my dripper at home only.

I wonder if part of the differences in this thread is just that some people are really uncomfortable standing out in a crowd. The idea of hiding it in public is just so completely alien to me, that I can't help but feel there is a fundamental difference between the way someone who would so approaches life in general and myself.
