Does DIY have higher percentage of WTA

I have a few tried and true "go to" vape flavors that my local vendor mixes up for me. I'm curious about Aroma's DIY. If I mix my regular juice with the DIY wont that dilute the WTA to the point where it's not at an effective level? I read a few posts about mixing and it looks like the concnetrations are very low. like mixing 1-2 ml DIY with 8-10ml regular liquid.

Is the DYI a higher concentration of WTA than the normal flavored stuff? From what I understand it seems like the WTA is "The good stuff" that's missing.

For 29.50 per 15ml, I would assume so but just checking.

I'm getting ahead of my self because I haven't tried WTA yet. (Shipment of flavored stuff should arrive today) Just being proactive in case the WTA scratches the itch.

While I'm asking questions. Do most people drip WTA? Is it a better experience with a drip? I have lots of clearomizers and have never tried dripping but am looking for the best experience. Any suggestions?

Here is a calculator that I use when I use to mix up pre made juices. It will help you know what nic level you are at. I have never used WTA but have heard good things about Aroma's. I'm sure someone will help you more with this questions.

Welcome to ecf. It is a wonderful place. I think that is what is so special about ecf....the people here. Good luck to you and happy vaping.

Thanks for the response Rat2chat2. The Nic strength by blending was not what I was asking about. Wanted to know if the WTA percentage was higher with the DIY than the normal flavored WTA.

Example. Two liquids with the same nic strength. If the normal percentage of flavored WTA is 5% by volume of nic. If I mix half flavored WTA with half of regular liquid, I would end up with 2.5% WTA by volume. (percentages are just lillustration. I dont know what the real percentages are)

If DIY is 10% of the volume of nic then a half/half mix results in 5% result.

Welcome to Aroma and ECF. I can partially answer your questions but others will chime in I'm sure (helpful folks).
Yes, I have certainly found that the addition of WTA in my "sidetracked" does scratch that itch. Since adding it 6 or 8 months ago, I am actually able to put the mod down and do other things :). Most of the juice that I use are flavored from Aroma and have WTA added. (Great flavors,). I also have an old favorite spearmint which I mix with P-38 WTA. The later only comes in 18 mg. I'm presently at 12 mg. so I mix it 50/50 w/ 6mg. Spear.
Another fav (peppermint) comes in 12 so I just add about a drop or 2"WTA for every 10 or so. These mixes all have kept the cravings at bay.
I've read many times about folks who drip full strength WTA when cravings are super high and it gets them thru.
Basically, IMHO, whatever works for you is what works best!

I also saw that WTA DIY. was on sale. I know I didn't answer your concentration question but do want to welcome you.

I add 10% of the unflavored to most of my mixes. I say most because I don't add it to new recipe until I know if it's "worthy" of the WTA. (This stuff is too precious to waste on a bad mix.) And yes, it does dilute the flavor a "very little" bit, but it's worth it. The next time I make a mix (that I know is good) I'll calculate that 10% into it.

Try adding 1ml of the unflavored to 9ml of your premade and see if there is a noticeable difference. I think the addition of the WTA will more than make up for any "slight" diminished flavor.

Also, I believe that the WTA percentage of Aroma's flavored e-juice would be considered proprietary information. ;)

Keep in mind that the unflavored is 24mg. If you add 1ml of it to 9ml of 12mg premade you will end up with a total nicotine strength of 13.2mg.

Yup, WTA is the real deal. I tried an experiment. I didn't pop in a portion of Snus this weekend from Friday morning 6am- Monday morning 6 am). From past experience with regular nic juice I would have been very uncomfortable/agitated, Jonesing for "Something" and chain vaping.
Amazingly I was very comfortable with WTA only this weekend. I know Snus was doing most of the "heavy lifting" to get me off cigs so now it's great to have an alternative. Now I can mix and match my harm reduction products :)

I did notice an increase in my juice use. From 1-1.5ml with regular juice + Snus to 2.5-3ml with the WTA.

Other factors might come into play... it was a lazy weekend so not many activities to break up the vaping. Also novelty of WTA.

Just thinking out loud and wondering... Could WTA be absorbed directly through the skin? I realize the small vapor droplets absorb in your mouth and nose membrane but would it absorb through direct skin contact like with the skin of your arm?

Like most on the ECF I tried the gum, patch, etc... before coming to vaping. I found the patch did not keep the cravings at bay but if the WTA absorbs directly through the skin then a couple drops on a bandaid might make a pretty good adhoc nic patch.

Sure would make long flights more enjoyable :)

If anyone has idea's or has tried this, let me know... I am curious.

Yes, there are many options for flying. I used flying as an example. (I use snus when I fly.... Works link a charm)

Was just spit balling ideas

My thought process was along different lines. Since NTR has such a dismal success rate, and the fact that medical science already knew the other alkaloids works in synergy with Nicotine. I'm surprised big pharma has never experimented with a WTA patch. (However even if the quit rate doubles with the patch its still pretty low success rate)

I guess there is no money in curing the common cold... but boat loads to be made in symptom relief. If people actually quit smoking, no one is going to buy more patches on their next quit attempt.
