It does not double the mah....but the mah ratings can be confusing. Even I don't get them. But I can say with certainty that my 700mah 18350s stack or single last a much longer time than the say 900mah 14500s. If you're concerned about vaping time, I can go through about 4mls on a charge with a pair of 18350s, which is about all day. What kind of vaping time are you looking for?

I do agree with Scottinboca that in many tube mods, stacked batteries can be a dangerous deal. However, the REO is not a sealed device at all and can easily handle a venting battery if it should occur. Knowing your batteries and using them safely is key...regardless of what device you use. If you're going to stack them, I strongly advise that you follow the manufacturer's recommendations regarding what battery to use. Don't get sucked in to the higher mah ratings or cheaper batteries. Don't make the mistake of going to your nearest Radio Shack or Battery Junction to find batteries that look like they will fit. Most of the batteries you can get at these places are not made to work in these devices and will fail.
If you have not had the opportunity yet...go to this http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/270331-free-reo-forum-thread-index.html thread. About halfway down is a battery discussion area. Look for the red writing...there is a lot of battery information below it. probably more than you want to read, but it's good to know.

Oh ok. So should I place an order for the 18350s??? I don't really have any vaping time I'm looking for, I guess just as long as I can get. Right now I go through about 2 awimr 600mah 14500 battery every 3ml.

I'm using the AW IMR 18350s...because I do get better vaping time out of them compared to the 16340s. And yes, you'll get a lot more vaping time out of these than you will the 14500s. Depending on your vaping habits you could get anywhere between about 3-5mls on a charge with the 18350s stacked in the VVG.

stacking batts , here is all I know as of now. I just got a PV that is 3.7 or 6 volts. Meaning I can use 1 x 18650 3.7v battery or 2 x rcr123a 3v batteries. I use the 18650 batts. Now within the 3.7 18650 there are choices for the amount of Mah I can use. Some are 2000 mah, some 2900 and some are 3000. Im sure that if you look within the 18350 you are looking for you might also find higher mah for longer battery life. Just make sure what ever you choose is within the manufacturers recommended battery recommendations.

Also, you may consider how many AW IMR 18350's to buy. Don't forget to "rest" your batts before and after charging for increased life. Since they are used in pairs, then 1 pair is in use, 1 pair is charging and 1 pair is sitting charged. So a minimum of 3 pairs are required. I would also consider a safety factor. Always be prepared for the unexpected when 1 pair is in use, 2 pairs need to be charged and the 1 pair in use quit due to low voltage. Don't think for a moment that scenario won't ever happen, because it will. I bought and rotate 4 pairs for my VV W, and I'm sure glad I did.

Milliamp Hour (mAh)

Milliamps Hour (mAh) is important because it's the easiest way to distinguish the strength or capacity of a battery. The higher the mAh, the longer the battery will last. Batteries with different mAh ratings are interchangeable. If your battery is rechargeable then the mAh rating is how long the battery will last per charge.

Milliamps Hour is 1/1000th of a Amp Hour, so a 1000mAh = 1.0Ah

Think of a cars gas tank. Voltage is how much gas is being used, and mAh is the size of the gas tank. The bigger the gas tank (mAh) rating the longer the device will run. If your battery is rechargeable, then think of the gas tank as refillable (rechargeable).

Stacking batteries does not change the MaH of the battery. If you stack two 900Mah batteries you now have 1800Mah capacity and it's run time will depend on the voltage you set your device at. It will last double the time of a single battery given the exact same voltage. It's impossible for it to do otherwise unless their is loss to heat conversion.

As for true Mah, there really is no real standard, many companies simply inflate their Mah. The number itself is a guide but only as accurate as the company description. For instance the surefire 18650 3,000Mah is not going to outperform a Panasonic 2250. It's true the surefire is 3,000Mah and does last longer. But the Panasonic 2250 will stay within the range you need for vaping much longer.

Mah is a guide, but remember that just because it lasts longer doesn't mean it lasts longer within the range you need it to function at.

Yep! You explained it better than I could.
