Does Sweetener Mellow Over Time?

...or is there a fix just to tame the sweetness of an e-juice other than diluting the entire mix or altering the other aspects of the flavor?

This is a vendor purchased e-liquid (with phenomenal flavor) that I regrettably ordered "extra sweetened"... any help?

You may have to dilute it with the same flavor e liquid less sweet or add some VG/PG depending on your preference.

VG has some sweetness to it compared to PG Of course this would dilute the flavor overall.

I've noticed sweetness to fade over time but also noticed sweetener to cause flavor to fade over time. If a lot of flavoring was used to make it extra sweet then diluting will help. If sweetener was used then diluting will reduce the primary flavor as well.

Thank you for the replies.

I ended up diluting with a PG/VG blend that I premixed. It did mute the overall flavor a bit, but it also took much of the edge off of the sweetness. It was a fairly strong flavor to begin with, so overall, it was salvageable.
