We are not "Giving" them Anythem Jode.

Because Cartoon Charactors or Images of Adolescents on Labels of e-liquids are not going to be Allowed Anyway. There Isn't a House or Senate Member who would even Remotely Consider fighting for something like this.

All you are doing is Giving Policy Makers who are Against e-Cigarettes a Stronger Argument for More Restrictions with the Uninformed Voting Public.

And since Flavor Bans are Intertwined with Marketing to Minors, it makes Fighting for Less Restrictive Flavor Bans Harder.

We are just not going to agree on this issue and that is fine. I respect your opinion because I held it for a long while until I really watched these types of meeting, hearings, discussion and listened to some of these ANTZ and the sheep that follow them, and realized that they have no intentions of fighting fair. Their goal is to snuff out the vape industry completely. Yes, it is a very scary time for the vape industry and we may indeed see a patch of history that includes vape bans, but I still say we need to stand strong and not help them to pick apart anything right now.

Im going to ask you something..... What are you personally doing to support your position? Are you actively searching for juice companies that have cartoon or other kid friendly (in your opinion) labels and petitioning them? I am just curious.

A few months ago I saw a report published (which I didn't save, unfortunately) from a Scandinavian country listing the calls to the emergency services, over a fixed period of time, about poisonous/toxic household chemicals - including e-liquid. Now the list was made up of between 15-20 different household chemicals and can you guess what was at the bottom of the list, yes e-liquid and the number of calls made regarding e-liquid were minute compared to calls about the other substances.
As has already been mentioned, these "increased number of calls to poison control about ecig products" are just that - an increase in the number of calls. It doesn't mean anybody was poisoned. With all the fear-mongering going on, I wouldn't be surprised if a large percentage of those calls were along the lines of "little Timmy touched my ecig - is he gonna die?"

We can Disagree on things. No Problem.

Just like I Disagree that "their goal" (if you are referring to Congress or BT) is to Snuff Out vaping completely.

Congress and BT Want an e-Cigarette Industry. If you are Congress, you Can't Tax e-Cigarettes if they are Gone. And if you are BT, you can't make Profits on something that is Banned.

They Both Want e-Cigarettes. I just Disagree with what the Majority of our Senators want the e-Cigarette Market to Look Like. And Completely Disagree with BT's goal of 100% Market Domination.

The Only people that want e-Cigarettes to be Fully Banned is a Very, Very Small percentage of the General Public. And they will not get Their Wish.

---

I don't Actively Search out companies to look at their Labels. LOL. But if I see something that I Feel could be Perceived as Marketing to Minors, I will Definitely send an e-Mail to the OEM.

Limits on Nicotine Levels is a Good Example. I know that Many are Pushing for 12mg/ml to be the Maximum Level Allowed.

We Might Not be able to get 100mg/ml. But think getting 24mg/ml or maybe even 36mg/ml is Very Winnable.
Well don't just bend over, zoiD.

Bend Me Over.

Thanks, pal...

Nicotine Levels are Definitely on the Table.

If we take an All or Nothing approach to something like Nicotine Levels, and Force an Up/Down vote on 12mg/ml or No Limits on Nicotine mg/ml, we will be Soundly Defeated.

Smarter to Fight for a Nicotine Max Level (so the Max Limit people get what they want) but make the Max Limit something that People can Actually use to Switch to e-Cigarette from Cigarettes.
This defeatist attitude is currently making me sick to my stomach.

Who's throwing anyone Under a Bus? I'm not the One who is Bringing the FDA Deeming.
I would never give in on your needs to satiate mine. Doesn't matter who's deeming what.

And F moderate senators. WE THE PEOPLE. That's how it works.

You give me up (look at your posts) and we're divided. Then we (you) have to kiss senator pooper to keep what you didn't give up the first time. The next schmuck that misses the big picture is going to sell you out.

Selfish garbage...

Whatever you say beck.

You want to Fight for Cartoon Characters, or No Age Limits to buy e-Liquids that contain Nicotine, or whatever, Go for it.

I Don't Care.

And if you Don't Think that Senators Opinions are Important as we go into this Phase of the Deeming Process, then Good for You.

I think you just want to Argue.

And will resort to Taunts to do so if I won't.

You've made this misrepresentation before. There is a HUGE difference between "We shouldn't lend credence to their ridiculous notion that cartoon characters are marketing to children" and "E-liquid should have cartoon characters on the label."

Perhaps you are simply unaware, beckdg vapes at 50mg/ml, so suggesting that 36mg/ml maximum is a fair "compromise" is throwing him under the bus. Along with those that DIY out of financial necessity.

So are you saying that having Cartoon Characters on e-Liquid Label will help Us?

I'm sorry if Beck is All Bent over a 36mg/ml limit. But I think you Know that I wasn't trying to throw him under a Bus.
