A heads up for those NOT in the know...

I've been seeing these madvapes Meters on Ebay for some time now, and it makes me sick! Personally I could never do this to another human being! The idea of buying these madvapes ohms meters (in quantities for $15-$20 bucks apiece), waiting until everyone sells out, then ridiculously tripling, and even in some cases I have seen these people charging four to five times as much as retail value of what this ohms meter actually cost!

Personally, I can see these people wanting to make a profit of some sort, but 4 to five times as much??? This is to the extreme of taking advantage of others in a desperate situation who do NOT want to get there hands or faces blown off by a rda building one for the first time! The greed of some people never ceases to amaze me!

My advice... Boycott these greedy thieves trying to take advantage of others emotional desperation! This guy (link below) on Ebay has sold 3 of these so far in the last 3 weeks alone, and has 2 more up for sale at crazy prices!!!... 510 Ohms Meter Ohm Atomizer Cartomizer | eBay

Would I like one of these meters? Of-course I would, but at the moment my Tesla Mod is working just fine at reading my RDA builds (just built one last night at 0.5ohm, VAPES CLOUDS of Flavor!). Today I just received this meter in the mail and it works GREAT (I will be testing ohms with my Tesla and this meter for now on, just to be on the safe side)...Portable A830L Mini Pocket Hand Held Digital Multimeter Volt Ohm Amp Test | eBay

This same meter I seen on a Ecig (store) site (forgot the name of the Ecig website) for $15 buck and it was sold out, so I searched around and got it for only $10 free shipping on Ebay.

Whatever it takes, IMO we should all stay away from these greedy folks trying to take advantage of our hard earned money! If you need a meter, I HIGHLY recommend buying one like the one I bought (it does the same thing as the madvapes meter as far as results are concerned).

Sorry for the rant guys, BUT PLEASE, I urge those in need of a MM to please save your cash, get a regular multimeter for one sixth the price, watch some UTube vids on how to work it, and there you have it, a working device that will keep all your RDA builds safe and free to vape.

BTW, I AM awaiting the Ecig Meter to return to "Back in Stock" at all the honest online stores that sell them (I will be getting one, just not from these Ebay Crooks!), but until then, in the meantime I am safe and more then happy with what I have to work with.

Now you feel what the gun community went thru with all the daggum ammo resellers...buying it up by the truckload..marking it up 2-3x, yay panic buying...and they kept doing it (because people kept buying it)...this is why many stores changed to a box of ammo at a time sales...

And I have a cheapo $10 multimeter...works good (sometimes you need 3 hands though!)

ROFL @$62.00 for that meter. You can buy an SVD or Vamo with built in Ohm meter for HALF that AND get a backup PV in the bargain.

Or... or... the OP's Tesla for $69.00 - that's just obnoxious.

Personally I still don't get why people want these period. I'd rather learn to be a little more dexterous, blow a big five bucks at Harbor Freight for a meter even, and be able to use it for all manner of things besides e-cig checks.

It's pretty scummy but if people are paying those prices they're to blame as well. If nobody bought them he'd drop the prices.

I'd rather have a DMM anyway.

True, but as I stated "These people are taking advantage of others emotional desperation". Obviously, if these people who are buying these $60-$70 meters knew any better they would do what ScottP said "buy an SVD or Vamo with built in Ohm meter for HALF that AND get a backup PV in the bargain", Just as I do with my Tesla.

Hey hey, I LOOOVE my Tesla, the Tesla is my "at work" vaporizer, it's the only one I bring with me daily. My Maraxus mechanical Mod is my "at home" vape. I'm simply using my Tesla as a multifuctional device, double bonus for me. :)

But if you're to the point when you need a ohm reader for rebuildables how do you not know better? I mean, its not exactly starter equipment.

I don't agree with people gouging but people should take some responsibility for themselves, especially when Google exists and they could find comparables in a couple of seconds.

I've got both and Madvapes box meter is VERY handy. I picked up a 808/901 to ego adapter for my AROs and it just too easy copared to trying to get a good reading with a DMM. It's worth the 20 bucks I paid for it, but 62? I don't think so! :p

No doubt. I'm sure they're quite useful. If I've got $20 to spend on one or the other, I'm grabbing a DMM.

I dont like people over charging for stuff but I think the person paying 4x the price is the dumb one.

Look at the classys used items going at retail with small scratches that are easily buffed out. That is my pet peve. If they are so easy to buff out then why are they being sold with the scratches?
