Does vaping leave a residue?

I vape religiously in my car with the windows closed (especially if I have the AC or Heat on). I have seen no visible residue so far. When I used to smoke cigarettes I usually would have to scrub the inside of my windshield quite often (and I used to smoke with one window fully open). I still have to clean in the inside once in a while anyway because of my allergies to pollen and such

One thing to note though, that if I am vaping with my windows closed and the AC on, the smell does linger in the AC eventually but not for long. I actually like it but if you don't then you probably should keep a window open.

I vape at work in front a computer(iMac with a glossy finish) that is about 18 inches in front of me, I have not noticed any residue in a month (except for the fingerprints of my co-workers). But, my leaky 901 has leaked on my cars leather and did leave a small spot.

E-liquid does seem to leave stains (I have cleaned out a few atomizers with my t-shirt), but I also haven't noticed any remnants from actual vapor.
