Does vapour increase humidity significantly

Trying to dehumidify my room to help prevent mould growth, just curious if the vapour increases humidity much.

No idea what section to post this in.

I doubt it, unless you are in a phone booth. I haven't seen a phone booth in something like a quarter century or more.

Well I guess so, when I drive my car in winter time I usually see much more frost appearing into the windshield.

Well i turned off my dehumidifier and vaped for a few minutes over about half an hour turned it back on and the humidity was around 2RH higher. I would say each vape session probably raises the humidity around 0.5RH.

Well, even if you vape 1ml in a single sitting, and the entire ml ends up as additional liquid in the air, that seems like an awfully small percentage. I don't know how many ml of water is suspended in the air in your room/house, but I would guess it's considerably more than 1 ml, at least 1L (again, complete conjecture).

Are you sure that turning off the dehumidifier for half an hour isn't what caused the relative humidity to increase so much?

You will add more moisture to the air just from breathing than you will from vaping AFAIK.

1. PG-VG are liquids.
2. As you can see (<--) I have a mustache also, but I never got it wet.

Propylene glycol is a an effective anti-fungal agent, so if mold is your concern then your vaping is helping rather than hurting.
