I smoked for about 4 days after I got my kit. I was vaping and smoking. I placed another order for cartos once I got my feet wet. I found I needed more variety and N levels. When that arrived, I stopped the anaolgs. That was 2 weeks ago. For me, I had to get closer to my personal sweet spot before I could drop the analogs altogether.

It's different for everyone, and each person has very different needs, wants and "sweet spots". Some stop smoking as soon as that first PV arrives. For me, it took a few days to make the adjustment. Once I made the jump, there was, and is no looking back. I've read some people like to try an analog after vaping for a few days to confirm how nasty it actually tastes. Not for me. I can't EVER have another, not ever. It isn't the caboose that'll kill ya. But again, it's different for everyone.

Best of luck. It won't ever get any easier than this to quit smoking. I was at 2 1/2 to 3 packs a day, a hopeless case. Stick with it. You will be very happy you did.

I didn't quit right away either, I took my time getting used to it. And thoughts of being without cigarettes would make me panic. Once I realized I enjoyed vaping a lot better than smoking, I stopped buying cigs and it was easy, I was amazed how easy it was. Good luck and enjoy!

I think we are both sort of saying that it isn't necessary to put the pressure of going cold turkey on one's shoulders as soon as your kit arrives. Relax. Take a deep breath. If the transition takes afew days, or a week, that's fine. There are no deadlines. Do what feels right for you. Don't stress, don't rush. You made that first step, and the rest will come.

It took me about two weeks to get off the analogs. Started vaping, immediately cut down from 2 1/2 pad to 1/2pad. Great then the analogs starting to go up again and I was chain smoking and chain vaping. I thought this is just stupid. One or the other. Vaping won. That was 8weeks ago. You are going to love it.....this is so exciting!
Well, what do you think?

Sandy and mmc- I am there with you! I even got excited when my parents got their packages
I have made over 12 orders in the last month and I am already stalking the mailman at my parents house now since I ordered more from the sale and got it shipped here.....wondering if the 'newness' wears off???

Congrats Kanza!! What's your favorite flavor? (Did you get some pineapple? It's delicious!)

I was only a 1/2 - 1 pad smoker, so quitting analogs didn't phaze me in the least. The one thing I haven't experienced yet is hangin out with a LOT of smokers... at a party or a card game or wherever. I know I'm going to get asked a lot of questions, and maybe even get some crap for "wanting to quit" or hearing "that just looks weird". I don't want to quit, I just want to breathe again!! And I don't care how weird it looks to anyone. I find it SO much more satisfying.

<happy, happy, happy> <dance, dance, dance>

I would have posted much sooner but my V4L packaged arrived hard on the heels of my husband's return from Hong Kong and, needless to say, there seems to ALWAYS be something he needs done and immediately! <lol> So, now he's sick in bed with a cold and I have a chance to post my impressions of my first order!

I love the stealth and diamond series batteries!! Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em! I won't go into what a colossal mistake I made while ordering them *so don't even ask* but I think I know what to do with the duplicates! I said don't ask! As for the manuals that I ordered with my starter kit, they are too much like the "walk and chew gum at the same time" test I always failed! Yep, I keep forgetting that "iddy, biddy" button and the whole train goes off the tracks ;p I assume I have a dead battery, an empty cartomizer or have simply forgotten how to inhale! Nor will we talk about how many times I have forgotten to remove the end cap I replace on the cartomizer when I won't be using the PV for awhile. Please tell me we've all be there??

Now to complete the "physical" portion of my review (if I try to type too much I seem to be timing out and have to log back in, thus losing my post) it's on to chargers! WHY must they have different colors with different meanings? Can't we limit them to two colors - charging and charged? I just knew I would get confused...and I did...and have yet to use the car charger and however many colors it has!

More about the "yummy" part later - have to check on poor, sick hubby!

Glad to hear you are liking this so much & sorry to hear your hubby is sick. Yes, I've done such things & more. Forgot to press the button just today. lol The manual batteries are great for refilling the cartomizers so you may want to hang on to them. It's all so new, just hang in there. My hubby & son were sick a few weeks ago and I managed to avoid the hacking cough they both had. Take care of yourself and your hubby. Post again when you can.
