Has anyone bought the HYBRID HILT 18650 BATTERY TUBE or seen it on the mod? It looks like it's an easy was to get the hybrid setup and a new battery tube. I was going to keep the regular 510 but the pin unscrews when I swap out batteries. It's not that big a deal but more of a good excuse to buy the tube.

A few weeks ago David told me it was "at least another month for the rda but it is in line to be made now". I'm personally hoping for a March release as I intend to buy a third Dominus (to go with the Lochaber), brass 18650 hybid tube (hopefully works with a polished button section as I never use my polished Dom), and a few other accessories.
Maybe you'd like a future 18350 hybrid hilt for that Praxis.

I thought i heard someone mention about the Lochaber on another forum - must have been you... Thank you for the information, and i would love to see photos of the new prototype or release model.

Yeah i saw pics of the 18350 praxis, just not sure i would like the button on it... Have a fair few mods now, just need more rda's.

I haven't seen current pics of the Lochaber, though I love the look of the prototypes at the beginning of this thread. All they need are some good looking drip tips, perhaps a shorty, to complement them.

Good news! I've been waiting patiently...........

Hopefully soon. I keep on looking at drippers to buy and have to remind myself to hold off a few more weeks for the Lochaber. The bottom fire bottom cap will be a great addition as well!

The Lochaber dropped yesterday. A little bit different with hybrid connection, dual posts, and different sizes of bottom feeding air jets. I'm a little disappointed there are no grooved sleeves available yet to match the grooved grip rings of the Fecit, but that's only a minor gripe and I'm sure they will be for sale in a month or two. Now to wait the 2-3 weeks for it to arrive.

Pics are easily found on IG or the Dominus Mods site. I'm just too lazy at the moment to imbed them.

Thanks for the heads up Kaoself. Deck looks quite similar to VA's Prodigy, which didn't excite me either bummed

David's initial design for the "Lochaber" looked promising, as the design complimented the design of the "Original" Dominus Fecit (grooved grip rings). What a let down, but at least I'll be saving some money!

yeah honestly i like the looks - i think matching grooves may have been too much. I think many people are using the 650 sleeve without grooves anyway and the loch compliments this better. Love to see a review or some more detailed descriptions and pics though.

I think the grooved rings looked great, though the tall drip tip fitting on the original Lochaber prototyped looked silly. I might have to find out how to fade out the writing on the side of the 18650 SS tube without changing the finish of the tube overall by polishing it and causing it to not match the finish of the other components. I never considered a copper sleeve as I was turned off by all the comment that people make of copper mods making your hands smell, and how quickly many of them seemed to tarnish. Though half of them are probably using cheap clones and I'm sure you can lacquer, or similar, a mod to protect its finish.
