@Grrr, thanks man, I'm almost tempted to contact them again and tell them to keep my original order active. I like them both but I prefer the polished by a hair. What's the difference between the V1/V2 switch?

I think the v2 had Rhodium plated brass contacts but you won't need them, just the locking ring as the upgrade uses copper contacts.
Thanks again. I've read that the voltage drop is significantly less with the LE upgrade, plus the clicky switch and the copper looks better too. So if I want the polished model I shouldn't really worry about the switch. Does that sound right?
Stick with what you have and get the Lord upgrade, like I said the only bit of the original switch you keep is the locking ring. There's a good guide on his website on how to install the upgrade or if you don't want to tackle it yourself David will do it for you, just pay for the shipping.
Forgot to mention the upgrade also contains a copper positive contact and a new bottom spring and copper negative contact so the upgrade is pretty extensive.
Yea, it's a no brainer. I'll give the install a shot, if I have a problem I can send it out. I can't wait to get the mod.
ETA: I emailed them and asked that they honor my original order. After I get it I may just go ahead and get the brushed one too. I realized that, even though the 90 bucks is cheap, I can get the mod direct from David, with the upgrade for 135. so there's really no difference in price.

David changed the switch from the original one that was first released as people were having their switches turn too much and would eventually come apart from the mod. He gave out free new switches to v1 people. The lords upgrade switch is the same as the v2 switch but uses copper for the contact. The lords upgrade as stated by Grrrr provides you with new positive and negative copper contacts.

Hello everyone. Proud owner of #1252 with the L.E. upgrade kit. I absolutely love this mod.
Here's a hybrid brushed copper hilt with a project subohm doge and competition top cap. Thing hits like 10 mack trucks. NOT my all day vape but definitely fun to tinker with. Might even show up for a local cloud comp if I'm feelin sassy lol
My ninja set up. Nano'd kayfun with science of vaping top cap.
454 big block is a east of an RDA.

Awesome pics mate - I have a similar stealth setup with the kayfun. Got a magma for when im dripping.
I can't seem to reach David. I've been trying to find out how long it will be for the LE upgrade to get back in stock. I really can't enjoy the mod without the upgrade since I drip 90% of the time, well under the recommended ohms.

For those that are after the Lords Upgrade - it should be in stock now... well worth the upgrade in my opinion.
Yup, I got the email, ordering today along with a hybrid conversion. Since I got my Surfrider it's hard to go back to regular caps.

I've been away for a while, my apologies for not replying sooner. I got the brushed with V2 switch but have since upgraded to the Lords with the brushed Hilt. This one gets the most use out of all of my mods. Love it! I'm in Cooper City by the way.
That sounds real nice. I'm going to get another tube too. I can't wait to get the LE switch and hybrid cap. I've only been able to use mine with a KFL due to the button getting hot using my RDA's. I'm sure I'll use mine a lot more once I get it fixed up. I'm in Weston, neighbor!
I have the have the hybrid adapter for my KF 3.1 from Vape Rev. The cap would probably be nice too.
The Chinese have cloned the Dominus. It is on Fasttech, I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later.
