my friend is blowing out some stuff I have bought. for some reason he wants $10 more well used than it is new from vaprev. I guess they were originally $210. I have read too many problems with the button. hot, falling out etc. I know there is another button but he already registered it. the main problem is the price which he does not want to move on this one for some reason. I prefer a bottom fire anyways. although the gg is alight. I guess it is just the combination on the magnet and pinky that might be an issue. it does have short throw. so I guess I am going to have to pass on this one. I am not really interested in getting a new one. if he wanted $125 i'd go for it. interestingly these are still for sale new and a lot of used ones for sale. if that says anything. other mods are hard to come by. I am not insulting it, just weary of what I have read.

Hot button is a short - cleaning the firing switch won't fix it because it is doing what it is supposed to do - make contact. You are likely shorting the atomizer center pin on the adjustable center pin. back out the center pin - put the atomizer on, and then adjust to where you feel resistance.

I need help with mine. The button has started getting hot. Yes, I have put them on meters, on my DNA 20, and on my other mods they work fine. On the Dom I get a hot button. I would guess I need to clean my bottom contacts. I would assume I would coat the pin in "Arctic Silver 5 3.5G Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Grease" ? Should I clean it with Hot water, or could I use a ArctiClean 60ml Kit?Amazon.com : ArctiClean 60ml Kit (includes 30ml ArctiClean 1 and 30ml ArctiClean 2) : Dvd Cd Lens Cleaners : Computers & Accessories

Anyone else have this problem? Im running diffrent types of atties all at sub ohms.. mostly .0,9 Kayfun. Im running Aw18490 These builds do fine on my ss king and chi you brass. I dont feel the heat at all on these other mods, but the dominus fecit button get too hot for my pinky. Any fix to this? Im still new to the game.
Have completely disassembled ... cleaned ..... spent Noalox and continues to spark and apparently is not passing current properly

No i have never had this problem, but it is a sure sign of a short. Are you saying everything you place on the Fecit makes the button hot? or is it just a particular build on a particular rba? Like i said i have never had this happen on the Fecit before. Get in contact with David through his email. His after market service is brilliant and he would know best. Good luck.

I have only had this happen when I put too much conductive grease on the switch contact...

New Dominus owner(thanks ecf classifieds) here with a quick question:
How do I disassemble the button to clean out the gunk? I was able to take the bottom cap apart but not sure about the button itself.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2

The whole button assembly unscrews from the tube.
